Soulmates .... They were something that started appearing in the 19th century , on a person 16th birthday a symbol appeared on a person being, anything from a ring to a tattoo maybe even switching minds with their mate. It is a rare thing only 1 in 5 have them.

(°I-I can't..... Save me....), He begged as tears ran down his face.

(°What..... ), I said as he collapse on to the ground in sobs.

(°H-he is my D-dad *sob*, M-lady), he moaned,( °take my miraculous, before he gets control again he whimpered. P-plag claws in. )

(°Wait,) I said to late as he transformed....(° A-Adrian), I stuttered. As I grabbed his ring and watch as black butterfly flew a way from him swinging my yo-yo I caught it.( °Bye-bye little butterfly. )I knew he would remember, ever since Mother's Wrath they all had. I could hear the familiar beeping as I rush home in tears falling into my bed as I turned back wishing it was all a bad dream.......

I laid in my bed thinking. Today was my 16th birthday for the past month I had looked up everything about soulmates, and I all ready knew how unlikely it was for me to have one, and even if I did they would probably fear me or just want money. In the league if one of the trainees had one they would either be trained or killed. Here not one of my family members had one so I had almost nothing to go off of.

"Happy birthday little d'",screamed Dick excitedly as he rushed into my room to drag me down stairs.

*Tt* "Grayson get out of my room", I hissed.

"Okay, but you better be down soon or I coming back", he said pouting. I was already on my way into the shower, running my fingers through my soap filled hair as a hundred thoughts went through my head, what if I did have a soulmate and they hated me, or I can't find them, or their already dead. *Tt* where on earth are all these worries coming from I wonder as I leave the shower putting on a black long sleeve T-shirt with the word Gotham in cursive white letters on the front and pictures of Gotham on the sleeve that I found in a bag at my door. Looking closer there where the small letters MDC at the bottom of the O so they were barely visible, probably the designers initials I thought as I put on a pair of black jeans. Before I began down stairs.

"Hey Demon Spawn you and your twin Demetira are sixteen now right", question Jason.

"Ya, so what Jason/ what is it to you Todd", we said a the same time.

"Leave them alone Jason, unless you want to get stabbed again", said our father.

"Like H*ll I would do you think I'm some sort of misogynist", he screamed.

"Masochist", corrected Tim as he sipped his coffee. I watch Danny as he phased through the ceiling into his seat only to have Cass sit on him because she didn't see him sit down, then freak out and change seats. Dick just sat there smirking as Alfred began placing food on the table when Stephanie came rushing down dragging Duke down as well. They were soon seated and so started the discussion of whether or not Dee-Dee and I would have soulmates.

"How could that demon over there possibly have a soulmate, maybe Dee-dee, but not the Demon Spawn", yelled Jason.

"It is very possible Jay", stated Danny, "after all Wally And Artemis are soulmates", Danny said winking at me. After that the conversation drifted over to the speedster twins, that is why he is one of my favorites though he will never know it.
