I carefully lay a blanket over the two sleeping teens, looking at Damian's peacefully sleeping face as he held Marinette close, one that before now even in his sleep he never showed.

"She has truly been good for him Master Bruce", Alfred whispered I nodded slightly before turning off the Disney marathon Dick had convinced the family to watch with the help of Marinette. Hitting the lights I walked out of the room towards the kitchen where I knew my other kids were most likely researching Marinette's family.

Nothing, there was literally nothing on them, no birth certificates, medical records, nothing except for a one recorded of buying a bakery.
Marinette had all the basics, but it was as if her family did exist, and this was even more true for her mom. I even tried hacking China's data base, and and all I found was that about the time her parents married, her great-uncle appeared out of nowhere and became a well known chef.

I walked in to all of them starring at their screens like the impossible had happened.

"What have you found", I asked.

"Nothing", I heard them all whisper in shock.

"It's like her Batten family doesn't  Batten exist", cried Jason as Tim scrolled through the bat files trying to see if he had missed something.

"Here it is",he exclaimed,"I knew we had to have something on them, its only names", he said as his face fell. " Father: Tom Dupain, Mother: Sabine Cheng, Grandmother: Gina Dupain, Grandfather:Rolland Dupain, I managed to find birth certificates on the Dupains barely, but it is like her mother does even exist.

*in dream* I opened my "eyes" and I was in a room that reminded of my home, so I decided to sit on the couch and started sketching.

"What are you doing Angel",asked Damian out of nowhere.

"Sketching", I answered showing him the floral design I was working on. "Do you think this is real", I asked.

"We are most likely asleep", he answered," but I believe this is indeed happening, it is probably an affect of the bond", he said before kissing my nose.

"It is probably an affect of the bond", I said before gently kissing her nose. As I did a small blush spread across her face, before she stood up.

"Come on lets go explore this Dream house", she said smiling brightly.

As we looked for more information I began to wonder how or why was it that Marinette excepted that Damian was raised as an assassin so easily. That reminded me of something Tala had said before we left," it was two birds with one stone beloved, it was a chance I could not let pass by."

"Tim look for them within the files we have gotten from the league",I stated he gave me a weird look before doing so.

"League data base: Sabine Cheng  you were right she here, but there is some sort of encoded message. One second, done its a video" he said before the screen lit up showing a video of Tala.
"The Chengs were among our better assassins, as none save my father and I were better, though there are some that will say otherwise. Sabine was the best of them, but her mind was to often on her Mate, and as he was among the Dupains one of the few still neutral families we could neither recruit him or destroy him. Eventually as there was no other option we were forced to release her from our service and allow her to join their clan. I hope this is to your liking beloved", she said before the video cut off.

"Wait what", Dick said.

"That's not possible, how can such a sweet little blueberry come from a family like that", said Jason to stunned to even curse.

"She did say the Dupains were neutral", states Barbara," they are most likely different from the Al-Ghuls, especially if we base them on how Marinette talks about them." They continued to look through this information Alfred walked in.

"Sir I must inform you that there is someone at the door, she claims to be Mis Dupain-cheng's grandmother", the second he said that there was a loud crash from where we had left Marinette and Damian.

Sir I must inform you that there is someone at the door, she claims to be Mis Dupain-cheng's grandmother", said Alfred just loud enough to wake me almost as if it was a warning.

"Damian you got to hide, my Grandma is here and knowing her she already knows everything", I said.

"Will you be informing my family of this Angel", he asked understanding my thoughts completely, as he brushed my hair out of my face.

"Definitely", I answered kissing his nose before run out of the room.

After the crash Marinette came rushing into the room.

"Let her in", she said before refraising it," I-i mean can you let me see her?" I went to answer her, but Jason interupted.

"Where's Demon Spawn", he asked.

"I hid him, cause My GiGi would probably kill him if he is there when I explain what happened, not to mention the tests", she answered starting to ramble.

"Tests", I asked she nodded.

"Papa, says (°that we have done it for centuries)", she said switching to French halfway through. "We do it for all (·spouses), soul mate or not. But (¬how did )she know so soon, (^wait she probably told her). And if Gigi knows then that (·probably means my parents) are on their way. Well at least that means I (^only have to hide Damian) until then", she rambles switch between French, Mandarin, English, Russian.
