Black that was all I could see when I opened my eyes, I could feel  slight vibrations coming from the ground. Where ever I was, it was moving. I sat up slowly, wary of what else might be with me. A dim light flickered on as soon as I was up, and a small speaker began playing.

"Hello Damian and I will begin with an apology, but as you know these tests are necessary." It was Sabine's voice. "Your father has already been informed, and now I will be explaining this test, we know that you are a capable fighter, as well as a person of strong will but you must also be knowledgeable and wise. We will be making use of your father's tec, and have created a simulated world. From this point on you must make it through six levels, each different environments with different danger, when the doors open your test will start. Be safe and prove that you are wise enough to join our family."

"*Tt* so this is their second test", I muttered a smirk making its way on to my face," you underestimate me." Getting out of the van was easily, as was dealing with the simulated guards.

(°He's quick you got to give him that), stated my husband as we watched him take out guard that would  be difficult for most to beat.

(°Yes, but that is only one part of the test, a part I'm sure that b**ch prepared him well for, the other part is more troubling I do hope he will find himself creative enough to best it), I responded. To said reply I got a soft smile from Tom.

(°As much as I hate to emit it the marks are never wrong,  they are good for each other.)
It was my turn to give him a soft sad smile,  even knowing they were mate could never perpare a parent  to give up their daughter.

(°He's found the first puzzle.)

In less than an hour I was able to establish what exactly I was working with. Excluding the camp I came to in there was but one area that differed from the rest. In the far left corner I found what I assumed was and ancient puzzle or at less it was designed to look as such. In a matter of minutes  I came to the understanding that it seemed to be based on some sort of sundial. *Tt* 'Truly they are underestimating me', I thought with a smirk,' now to solve this puzzle.'

It was quite obvious that I couldn't just wait for the rising of the sun, dispite the fact that this illusionary sky showed signs of brightening. For one that would be much to easily, and secondly the angle at which this puzzle was placed in the cliff face would not receive nearly enough light. Something about the carvings that decorated the stone caught my eye, it seemed  to lead some where. Realizing this I checked the other two carvings, it was the same for them as well. Following the first carving lead me to a small cave, one off many I had passed by during my exploration. Inside lay a staff or rather a portion of a staff. It was incredibly tempting just to take it after all the fast this was over the sooner I could see my Angel. The thought of her blushing face almost overcame my better judgement, but to give in to that would put all of my training to shame and risk me failing this test.  'that is a risk I can not take', Putting my thoughts aside I began checking for traps, it was rather interesting to have to unarm 11 different traps for a single rod.

The next carving lead me to what I had previously observed to be a large pach of moss, I should of known not to take such a thing for granted. Under the moss was a large mural, however it seemed to be missing a large portion of the tiles that made it up. 'It seems this will take more time than I thought.' The sun has made it over the horizon.
