*This filler chapter update was delayed due to a series of unfortunate events. I got really sick after getting my blood drawn and stayed home for the rest of the day. I was bored and decided to hang out with my dog. So... I threw my back out while painting my dog's nails. It's pretty embarrassing lol. I thought that only old people could throw their backs out😅. I'm in bed cuz I can't move my lower half so there will be more frequent updates because of the lack of things to do. I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter but it is what it is now.
And some of you may have noticed that I changed 5 of the 6 book covers! I thought they needed a change. Some of the old covers had been there since 2017! Remember to vote and comment, it's appreciated!*

Rue
I wag my tail excitedly, my nails clacking on the floor as I practically jump in place. Shiloh laughs, running his hand along my back. I squeak, hopping onto his lap and licking his face.
"I can't put on my shoes if you're on my lap," Shiloh chuckles, pressing a kiss to the top of my head.
I jump from his lap, tugging on his pant leg as he finishes tying his shoelaces. Shiloh scoops me into his arms, carrying me out to the field in front of the packhouse.
My brothers had arrived at the border between Maine and Canada. They were meeting us halfway, so they wouldn't have to stand idly and risk getting hurt by a rogue or human.
Shiloh and I make our way to his parked truck, the white vehicle seemingly blending in with the snowy landscape. He climbs into the driver's seat, depositing me in the passenger seat. I place my front paws on the dashboard, squeaking happily as Shiloh drives down the cleared dirt road. He rolls down my window, allowing me to poke my head out.
Goddess, I couldn't wait to see my littlest brothers again. I left the house and moved in with Malcolm when they were still children. Conan was seven and Iggy was six. Though they were the youngest, not having much time with me before I left, I was still closest to them.
The drive to the border took about three hours, my nerves tingling with excitement the closer we got to my brothers.
Shiloh chuckles as I whimper in my seat, wagging my backside like an excited pup. I yip, jumping in place as I smell the two familiar scents of my siblings present in the air.
My whimpers only grow in pitch as two small red foxes come into view. They were walking along the dirt path, pressed close together. One of them held a tiny cloth in his mouth. My eyes widen as I spot a kit in between the two foxes. The kit was a light grey color, his nose black. Realizing that the little cloth was child clothing.
I hold myself back so I don't jump out the window as soon as Shiloh's truck comes to a stop. Shiloh explained that standing outside in the rogue infested woods of no man's land was dangerous. And that my brothers and I could catch up on the car ride home.
Shiloh grabs the extra clothes we brought for my brothers. There were five shirts in the pile, all different sizes, and some sweatpants. They had left everything behind, only bringing their phones. We said we'd provide them with an all-new wardrobe once they arrived.
I jump into the backseat, shifting into my human form and changing into my clothing. I pop open the door just as my now clothed younger brother makes his way over to the truck.
