Arafah's pov;
I adjusted my glasses writing down quickly scribbling down whatever came to my head. I was jotting it down before I would type it in my laptop.
I huffed adjusting them again. I honestly hated my glasses. For some odd reason it never stayed at my eye level.
I groaned at my work flipping the page again. I stared at the blank page not at all know what to write.
I couldn't wait to graduate.
It was as if the blank page was taunting me. I exhaled and starting writing. This is probably awful. I adjusted my glasses again continuing to write complete nonsense. "So what are you doing?" A voice said from beside me. I gasped quickly turning my head to the side.
Khaleed chuckled shaking his head before looking into my book "Wow, you're handwriting is horrible." I rolled my eyes, I wasn't argue, I knew my hand writing had little issues. "I don't know when you will stop doing that." He raised an eye brow "Doing what?"
"Sneaking up on me, I honestly don't know how you do it but it needs to stop," I answered. He looked up as if thinking before shaking his head "Nah, I feed off on fear particularly yours." He smirked tapping the left side of his chest "It fills the empty void in here." I shook my head "I don't know why I even bother." He smiled "I know you love my company." I scoffed "You wish."
He shrugged "Whatever you say. So what are you doing?" He asked. I sighed resting my head in my palm "What does it look like I am doing?"
"You don't answer a question with a question, Fairy," He told me. I stuck my tongue out at him "I don't whatever I want." He looked at me, his hazel brown eyes shining with amusement "Did you really just stick your tongue out?"
"Yeah, so what?" I asked crossing my arms across my chest. He raised his hand in mock surrender "Calm down it's just a question."
I narrowed my eyes at him before turning my attention to my work. He also kept quiet doing whatever he was doing on his phone.
I smiled as I concluded another paragraph, just one or two paragraphs and I would be done. My glasses slipped down my face again. I remove them glaring at the pair before putting them back on.
"You are so weird," Khaleed said. I rolled my eyes "What makes you say that?" I asked. "Uhm... Well you were just glaring at your glasses," He told me. I cleared my throat "I was scolding them, they are such bad glasses," I told him.
He looked at me "Wow, my wife is a crazy person." My eyes dropped trying to hide the smile that appeared when he called me his wife. I am truly a crazy person. "Whatever," I said before turning away from him.
"Personally, I think you look cute in your glasses," He admitted. I cleared my throat again adjusting my glasses. Oh God, save me. "Thanks," I whispered.
His phone rang "Excuse me," he said before leaving the parlour. I let out a breathe closing my book, I rested my head in my palm. A little yawn left my mouth, I was exhausted, I haven't gotten a good night sleep in quiet some time.
