Arafah's pov

"Whaaaaaaaat!?!" Fadimatu screamed into the phone causing me to get it as far away from my ear.

I heard her say some thing but it was distant so I brought back to my ear.

"What did you say?" I asked

"I said I am coming to your house today." She said and I could imagine her smiling looking proud of herself.

"No, no there is no need now,"

"Arafah there is no need wasting credit now I' ll talk to you when I get to your house."

"Fadi..." They was a short beep indicating the call had been hung up.

She shook her head Fadimatu is impossible.

"Arafat, Would you get the door for me darling?" Mama shouted from the down stairs kitchen.

"Okay," I answered walking down the stairs.

I open the door little to check who the person on was...

It was Fadimatu.

Of course,

I opened the door she jumped on me causing both of use to fall.

"What the hedge dude!" I screamed causing her to giggle and roll her eyes

"Nice to see you too," She said rolling her eyes again.

"Get off me Fadimatu," I said pushing her off me. " What do you eat? you are so heavy!"

Fadimatu patted her tummy.

"I am a lady, Me and food are best friends," She said winking at me.

My eyes widened and my hand went to cover my mouth. "Then what am I to you?" I ask dramatically.

"Oh," She looked up. "You are the other woman," She said winking at me.

"Fadimatu!" Someone screamed from the end of the corridor. It was Maami". "I missed you so much," She said giving my so called best friend a hug.

"I missed you too," Fadimatu said getting to her knees to give Khadijah a proper hug. "And I got you something," Fadimatu whispered putting her hand in her bag.

She brought out wherever it was and gave it to her making sure I couldn't see it.

"Hey what is that?" I asked stretching my neck to see it. "Mind your buisness Arafah." Fadimatu said turning to look at me while Maami couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Oh my God Fadimatu!" She yelled "You are like the older sister I never had."

My eyes widened at her confession. "Maami! " I yelled.

She smiled at me and ran down the corridor.

"I watched Maami run down the corridor. "I feel so unloved," I sobbed dramatically.

"Stop being so dramatic," Fadimatu said getting up from her knees and walking down the corridor.

"You aren't going to help me?" I asked already knowing the answer.

She stopped but didn't look back at me and then laughed "Very funny," I could feel her roll her eyes.

"You need need to stop that," I said in fake seriousness. "No wonder you're eyes are so yellow."

She laughed "Baby my eyes are even tired of being too perfect," turning around she batted her eyes at me and continued to walk away.

"I hate you" I sighed.
