Bill's POV
Okay. Time to investigate that journal of Pinetree's. I went back to the shack. Thankfully there were no accusing glares. Stan went out to do a tour, and everyone else was doing their normal thing. Maybe they were all starting to accept the fact that Dipper's gone nuts. Smiling I headed upstairs. Mabel passed me and smiled. "How is your arm feeling bro? I left you a glass of Mabel juice in our room." She said.
"My arms fine. And uh, thanks for the juice. I think?" I smiled awkwardly. Ah Shooting star. What was I going to do with her? I got the journal and sat down. There really is some interesting things in here. I mean I'm even in here! Man, do I really look that awesome? I made sure to read up on every piece of information that might be useful. What did it matter? I was just going to destroy this thing anyways.
Mabel came up a few minutes later to check up on me. "What are you doing? Going through that old journal again? You've been through that like a bazillion times." She said.
"I know. But I need to refresh myself before it all goes away." I replied.
"What do you mean?" Mabel asked. I heard Stan's voice from below,
"Mabel! What did I say about going up there today?" Mabel sighed.
"He's still my brother." She muttered. "Bye Dip. See ya later." Mabel left me.
I made sure I even read the notes that were invisible ink. I don't know how long I was looking at that journal, but it was all worth it. Soos came up a few hours after Mabel. "Sup dude." He said.
"Hey Soos. Hey do you happen to have a lighter with you?" I asked innocently.
"Yeah dude. I am the handy man." Soos smiled and gave it to me. I lit it and smiled.
"Soos, there comes a day when people change. Some for the better," I held up the journal and held the lighter to it. "Some for the worse." The journal went up in flames. Soos gasped. "Big changes are coming. And no one... no one can stop me!" I laughed hysterically after that, letting the journal fall.
"Dude! You just destroyed everything you've worked for!" Soos said. "Something is really wrong with you." All I did was smile.
"Oh I know. I know lots of things... and soon, nothings going to matter anymore." Soos backed away and eventually left me. I don't know what Soos was so worried about. I mean I'm fine. I'm just fine.
