Jack woke up on a different bed. Where was he?
He then remebered that he had spent the night at his friend Spencer's house.
He also had the biggest smirk on his face and he couldn't for the life of him figure out why.
He decided he would forget about it for now and go on tumblr for a bit.
When he opened his phone he remembered why he was smirking. He had talked with Max last night. He checked his messages and remebered everything. She had been really nice to him and had complimented him all night.
He was so happy, happier than he had been in months.

He got home a couple of hours later and made his way into his bedroom.
He had turned off his phone for the time being and after he turned it on, he wished he had left it off.
There was one message from Max.
"Last night didn't happen. What I said wasn't true. I don't want to hate every conversation we have. I don't think of you like that"
He stared for a bit, trying to comprehend what he was seeing. The happiest he had been in months and then suddenly it was all taken away. He teared up a bit, and quickly dismissed it.
"Yeah, agreed. I'll delete the messages" He replied saddly.
"Thanks" She said
He remembered that Max was seeing a movie in the morning.
"How was the movie" He asked.
"Look, I don't want to talk" She answered back.
"Alright. Bye" He said.
He couldn't handle it anymore, things had just gotten back to 'normal' between him and Max and then this happened, god knows how long it would be until they next talked. He started to cry, he had never cried like this before, he couldn't stop. Lucky no-one was home.
He cried like this for hours.
Then he just stopped.
