Chapter 07 : His Girlfriend

Nakauwi na kami ni Lea sa Pilipinas, ngayon kasi ang engagement party ni Charlene.

I'm so happy that Lea agreed na i-pakilala ko na siya sa pamilya ko since present naman din don ang buong angkan ko, sa ancestral house namin sa Batangas near the beach resort kung saan ang engagement party.

"I'm nervous." Wika niya.

"Don't be, Lea. Magugustuhan ka nila I swear, you're gorgeous and nice." Sabi ko at nagmaneho na.

She's wearing a simple off shoulder dress while I'm wearing a black longsleeves, ang pogi ko.

We're already here at sinalubong naman kami ni Mama.

"What a beautiful young lady, what's your name hija?" She asked Lea.

"I'm Lea, it's nice to meet you po." She politely said.

We proceed to the area where their engagement party will held.

Dumating na rin sa wakas ang couple, ang tagal din bago matapos, ang dami nilang rituals. Rob's father is a Chinese, I already want to introduce Lea to them tss.

"Are you okay?" Tanong ko kay Lea.

"Not really, can I go to restroom?" She must be really nervous.

"Sure, do you want me to go with you?"

"I can manage." She said and smiled.

I'm just sitting here while Rob is talking to his guests, sipsip talaga kahit kailan.

"Hey Aga." Bati niya at kinunitan ko lang sya ng noo, anong akala niya? ayos kami? "Rude as always." Saad niya.

"Any problem with that?" Tanong ko habang nakakuyom na ang kamao ko.

"Chill, I'm just going to ask where's your girlfriend dude." Tumawa pa ang gago.

"Why do you care?"

"Just to make sure na hindi mo na papangarapin si Charlene?"

I was about to punch him when Lea came to stop me.

"Aga, stop—not here please?" Sabi niya.

"Lea?" Wika ni Rob.

"You know her?" Tanong ko.

"Uhm yes Aga." He smirked.

"Charlene introduced him to me." Lea said na ikinakalma ko naman.

I will not let this jerk na agawin sa'kin pati si Lea, not anymore.

"Nag-uusap na pala kayo hindi niyo ko sinasali." Napalingon kaming tatlo kay Charlene.

Lumipat kaming apat sa long table kung saan nandoon ang family members.

"Who's that pretty girl beside you hijo?" Tanong ni Lola.

"She's Lea, my girlfriend."

"What?" Sabay na sabi ni Charlene at Rob.

"You didn't tell me kayo na pala ni Aga, parang kailan lang magkaaway pa kayo." Charlene said and laugh.

I saw Rob's face still in disbelief. Ano bang pake niya? anong pake ko.

Nasa kalagitnaan kami ng pagkain nang napansin ni Tita ni hindi nagagalaw ni Rob ang pagkain niya.

"What's the matter son?" Tanong nito.

"Nothing mom, sumama lang po bigla pakiramdam ko. I think I should rest, excuse me." Paalam nito at iniwan lang kaming lahat, pati si Charlene.

"What a jerk—" Hinampas ako ni Lea nang pasimple.
