** Naomi's POV **
Tyler and I walked into class and immediately the eyes of the few students that were already in there were on us. Just a couple of people, I thought, nothing too major, I know Tyler was still a bit shaken up about the events at the party but she said nothing about it. She awkwardly sipped the drink Luke gave her and shuffled to the back of the class.
A couple minutes later more students trickled in and once again, all eyes went back to Tyler.
"Hey Tyler, heard about the party, you just couldn't keep your hands off him could you?" one girl with fiery red hair smirked.
"Wh-what are you talking about?" she stuttered.
"Oh come on, don't play dumb, we all know about how you got totally fucked and practically BEGGED Matt to bang you, don't you have any respect for yourself?" she scrunched up her nose in disgust.
"That's not what happened." Tyler stated, fiddling with her straw.
"Sure it's not." the redhead smirked again, looking at her friends, all of them sharing a look as if to say we know the truth. But they don't know the truth, and they don't have to, Tyler doesn't owe anyone an explanation.
"Excuse me, tomato." I said referring to the redhead. "Whoever you got that information from is a complete fuckwad because that's definetly not what happened, but seeing as Tyler and I don't like to waste our breath explaining such complicated matters to the likes of you, we'd simply appreciate it if you FUCK OFF!" I yelled, totally upset.
I looked to Tyler and she gave me a small smile as if to thank me and I nodded as to say no problem. The rest of the day carried on like this until lunch, I hadn't seen Matt anywhere and I didn't ask Tyler if she did, afraid of stirring the pot. Tyler and I made our way outside and she slumped down against a tree, her head in her hands and her knees to her chest. I could tell she was trying her hardest not to fall apart but it wasn't working, I put my arms around her but didn't say a word, neither did she.
Slowly, she started to cry, she still said nothing, her hands becoming stained with her tears and eye makeup, I rubbed her back and soothed her as best I could. She looked up at me slowly and smiled, I smiled back.
"Ty, listen, what happened totally sucked, and I'm sorry I wasn't there, but we have to get through whatever's going on, or you do, but I'll be right here with you until the very end, and even after that. I can't imagine what you're going through but I'll support you, okay?"
"I just feel so weak, this isn't me, I don't cry in front of anyone, I don't ask for help, it doesn't feel right, suddenly being so dependent, I-I." she didn't finish, she just cried. I soothed her some more, or at least TRIED to.
The boys started to walk over, not looking at us yet, but deep in conversation, Calum was running his hands through his hair watching Ashton and Micheal talk intensely while Luke laughed.
"Tyler, babe, the boys are on their way over." I whispered.
She sniffled one last time, picking her head up and wiped her eyes, probably cursing herself for wearing makeup today. I handed her a tissue and mirror, because I'm always prepared duh, she took them both gladly and started to wipe her eyes, but she wasn't quick enough and the boys were over here while she was wiping her eyes.
"Hey guys—" Ashton started, turning away from his conversation for one minute, taking a look at us, I silently prayed he didn't notice, and I bet Tyler did too, "—what are you doing Tyler?"
"Oh, um, nothing, I got something in my eye." her lie was believe-able, but her shaky voice gave it all away.
Luke bent down to get a better look at her, I could tell right away he knew something was wrong.
"The intense way your makeup is smeared doesn't make it seem like you got something in your eye... and if you did why didn't you just go to the nurse." he challenged.
"Um...uh.. I ... erm... I just" she stuttered.
"Tyler what happened to you..?" Luke asked.
Tyler turned away from us, still wiping her eyes, "Nothing, I said I'm fine." she spoke softly.
"You don't look fine, you look fucked." Calum said.
"Calum!" I yelled.
"Sorry, I meant—" he started.
"Yeah, I know what you meant." Tyler finished, getting up, she handed me my things and sped off.
"Tyler wait!" Luke yelled chasing after her.
We all turned to Calum and glared at him, "I'm sorry!" he whined.
"Hey, what actually happened, Naomi...?" Ashton asked, sitting next to me on the grass.
I sighed but spoke anyway.
