Talking to his parents was perfectly fine, but when it came to literally anyone else in the world, Timothy was silent. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk to them.. He just couldn't. Although, he had tried many, many times.

Dozens of notes would be sent home to Tim's parents, informing them that he would not speak. Tim would come home telling them of the many ways his teachers tried to get him to speak. They would put him in a room by himself, try to bribe him, or even make him talk for in order to get the things he wanted (in which he did not get the things.)

Tim's parents ended up taking him out of the school. The last straw was pulled when they got a call from the principal saying that Tim ruined a piece of furniture and they would have to pay to have it refurbished, well the story behind it really. When Tim got home that day, his pants were covered in feces and urine. He told his parents that his teachers made him sit down in time out because one of his classmates told the teacher that he slapped him. The only thing he could do was shake his head at the teacher with pleading eyes to possibly show her that he didn't do it.

Unfortunately, he got put in a chair that faced the corner for time out. Half an hour passed and he began to get antsy. He really had to use the restroom. He raised his hand and turned around towards the teacher. He pointed down to his pants and put his hands together in a pleading motion as if to ask to be excused to the restroom. The teacher declined his request and told him he could go if he asked. Tim sat there frozen in fear. He opened his mouth to talk but his voice was nowhere to be found. He put his head in his hands and tried to hold it in.

When the teacher noticed that he had used the bathroom on himself, she was livid. She pulled him up from the chair and looked at him in disgust.

"Ugh! That is gross, Timothy! You are 8 years old! You should know how to control yourself!"

Tim flinched at her words as she took the chair and threw it out in the hallway. Scoffing, she grabbed the telephone on the wall and called the office to inform the principal what the boy had done. She slammed the phone back in the holder and glared at Tim.

"Sit down on the floor. I'm not cleaning any chair you sit on."

Tim wanted to ask for another pair of pants. Even if he could ask, he knew that she wouldn't call for him a pair. He slowly sat down on the ground and pulled his knees to his chest and cried silently until the bell for home rang.

Tim was placed into a home schooling program at the age of 10. His parents finally decided on this after he had been out of public school for 2 years. He was beyond excited to get to learn. Back in public school, he didn't learn much, because his teacher refused to help if he didn't verbally ask questions like the other students. She was quickly fired when the principal was informed of her actions. Tim's parents debated whether he should go back to the same school now that she was gone, but decided against it, for the environment was too much for Tim to handle.

Just recently, Tim graduated from online college. He had majored in Painting and Drawing. This passion had erupted while he was still attending public school. He would always love when they had free time. The teacher would give out crayons, markers, and construction paper. The first thing the boy had ever drawn was a picture of his crush, Maisy. It wasn't the best thing in the world, but it actually showed some resemblance to the girl. It was definitely better than any other 6 year old could draw. He put it in her desk and left for the day. The next day, she walked up to him thanking him for the picture and telling him that it was very pretty. She even told him that her parents hung it on the fridge! The boy turned bright red and nodded as a 'thank you' and went back to his own work.
