We have been in school for about a couple months now and i have made a lot of new friends. Me and Jenna are still best friends and i still hangout with Candice and Shelly. Julie and i have hung out maybe a couple times just watching movies at her place or mine, nothing major, and me and Kyle... well its complicated. we are very good friends but sometimes he acts like he wants to be more and then other times he treats me like one of the guys. Me and him haven't been alone together yet because he's busy with his band and I have a little sister to take care of, I hangout with him and his friends and Jen when my sister is at her friends house or if my mom is home. Right now Jenna is about to pick me up for school , then pick up everybody else. Jenna backed out of her driveway into mine since we live right across from each other and i hoped in the back seat because the front was reserved for Jonah. rude. I was fiddling with the hem of my skirt for a while and noticed that the longest it goes is mid thigh. Wow, i'm surprised Sister Sarah hasn't yelled at me yet. We stopped in front of Jonah's house and him and Kyle came waltzing out side his door. Jonah of course went up front and Kyle sat in the back with me . Kyle smiled at me and said a quick hey and i said a hi back. " are you coming to my thanksgiving show" Kyle asked looking at me. " i don't know , maybe" i said looking up at him. " come on you have to " he said leaning closer and putting his hand on my thigh. I rolled my eyes while laughing and pushed his hand off my thigh. He laughed and put his arm over my shoulder and started talking about some band things. See times like this i think he wants to be more than friends but then he doesn't like make a move or anything.

We got to school and we all got out of the car in the parking lot and stood by jenn's car. i shuffled through my bag and grabbed one of my hand-rolled cigarettes, you may be thinking why is it hand- rolled well one cigarettes are expensive, two it passes the time. " hey is that hand rolled?" Kyle asked looking at the cigarette in my hand. I nodded my head and motioned for him to light it for me . He laughed and lit it for me then took it out of my mouth and took a hit off it. " hey BUD that is mine" i say snatching it back. he rolled his eyes and took out of one his own , which is also hand-rolled , " I don't like to partake in the economy, plus you cant inhale cloves so whats the point"Kyle said , i nodded my head and said " the economy is shit and its not like they are using our money for good, they are using it to put tracking devices everywhere." i said pointing to peoples cellphones and the computers in classrooms. " totally i think the same exact thing" he said smiling. we talked about that stuff for a couple of minutes and he said " you know i never got your number " he said looking down at me. he pulled out a pen and gave me his hand while writing the number down i said " this is my house phone number" he looked up at me and said " you don't have a cell phone?" i placed the pen in his hand and said " no remember they are like mini tracking devices" i said in a 'duh' tone " good girl" he said. my heart fluttered and those two words . holy shit i think i just died a little. i smiled at him and said good bye because jen was practically dragging me to algebra now. It was the same thing and i had my normal conversation with Julie and sometimes lady bird I don't like lady bird that much as i said in the past but if i want Julie to be my friend ill have to be nice to her best friend as well .

School was over and jen and i were walking back to her car. Kyle and Jonah were already there waiting for us and Kyle got a bright smile when he saw me approaching him. " hey Arabella what are you doing today?" he asked kind of in a whisper " nothing , my sister is at her friends house so ill probably just be home alone" i said looking at him " or you could come over my house and hangout with me " he said grabbing both my hand and swinging them lightly. i pretended to think about it then laughed and said sure. " hey Jenna bell is coming home with me so can u drop us off first" he said , " yeah sure " jen said smiling and then looking at me and wiggling her eyebrows. i rolled my eyes playfully and we all got in the car. Jen pulled up to a fairly large house and Kyle grabbed my hand and we both said our goodbyes. I knew about his mom already and his dad is probably at chemo therapy right now so i didn't ask why he was alone. We walked into the kitchen and i sat down at the island while he looked in the fridge for something to eat or drink. " do you want a water?" he asked pulling a water bottle out of the fridge . " sure" i said as he handed it to me with a smile. We started having a conversation about his show on thanksgiving which was in a week. " what are you doing for thanksgiving?" he asked leaning over the island " My mom is probably working and my dad is still on his business trip and Connie's mom offered for her to spend the day with them so ill probably be at home still" i said picking at my nails. the only holiday my parents spend with me is Christmas. They give me expensive gifts thinking it will make up for our time loss but i only want to spend time with them. " If you aren't doing anything you could have dinner with me and my dad and then we could go to the show together" he said moving over to where he was in front of me . i looked up and smiled " Are you sure?" i asked just to make sure. " of course, it gets lonely here around holidays anyways so why not spend it with my favorite person and my dad" he said slowly moving closer and closer. By the time he finished his sentence we were chest to chest and looking each other in the eyes. He slowly leaned down and whispered " can i kiss you" i quickly nodded and he slowly placed his lips on mine. his hands snaked around my waist pulling me closer as i had my hands around his neck. We kissed for a couple more seconds and he asked " do you wanna watch a movie now " i giggled and nodded my head and we went upstairs to watch a movie. The rest of our time together was just us cuddling and making slight conversation about the economy , his band , thanksgiving or our families. I saw that it was 9:30 and realized that Constance was coming home soon and i hate to get going. " hey my litter sister is gonna be home soon so i should get to the house before her" i said grabbing my cardigain off of his bed. He nodded and said " i can take you home" i smiled and we walked downstairs into his car that was parked in the driveway. While he was driving he put his hand on my thigh and i put my hand on top of his. It was a silent drive but it wasn't awkward , we kind of just admired each-others presence silently. He pulled in my drive way and i turned towards him, " i had a lot of fun today, thanks" i said smiling and looking at him. " so did i , we should hangout more often" he said grabbing onto my hand. i said sure and then a quick good night while getting out of the car. he rolled his window down and yelled " goodnight beautiful" i laughed and waved him goodbye and he backed out of the driveway and drove away. i looked up from the ground into jens room and she was watching us !! She banged on the window and started jumping up and down and i shook my head while laughing. She laughed too and closed her curtains and i walked inside my house. Constance walked in the door a couple minutes later and i asked her if she had dinner yet. She said yeah and i got her ready for bed and walked downstairs. i wasn't really hungry so i just had some yogurt and peaches ( hehe ) and poured me a glass of my moms red wine. She'll be too tired to notice any is missing anyways. I finished everything and washed the dishes so she didn't have to and headed upstairs. I took a quick shower and did my skincare routine and out on some pajamas. I grabbed my favorite book and read myself to sleep. What a peaceful start to a peaceful week........
