LOLAtruly never thought she had seen the worst of what the new world had to offer. The small communities that she lived in never lasted and she watched them crumble each time along side her sister and mother.
After a while they had stopped living with the humans and started walking with the dead. They used the skin of the deceased and blended in with the rotting monsters that walked the earth and ripped you open to feast on your insides.
Before the end of the world lola seemed as if she would never hurt a fly. she was gentle and kind to just about anyone, no matter how they treated her. But ultimately, she was vulnerable and people often took her kindness for granted. but with the arrival of the end of the world, lola learned to build a stronger second layer to protect herself.
she no longer thought twice about killing the dead, or the living. she could no longer be afraid of everything. After watching her mother kill her father, everything she cared about went crumbling to the ground. she knew the truth about her mother and although she didn't like that she called herself alpha and had a whole pack behind her, following her.
the only thing that lola had left was her older sister that never thought twice about protecting her from any danger that came their way. she had been tired of living like that, always afraid. Scars ran up and down her and her sisters arms due to their mother. She could still feel the sharp branch slicing her arm everytime she disobeyed her mother.
When the day her and her sister were took hostage by the people from hilltop she had finally thought she had finally got away from having to wear masks to blend in with the dead and getting whipped for every mistake. Although the people didn't like the two former whisperers they still had eachother.
