When Lucifer woke up, Michael wasn't there. It saddened Lucifer and his naturally over-exaggerating nature started to think that it was somewhat his fault. He went out of bed, wondering what he did wrong, to see Michael wasn't in the room at all. Lucifer forced himself to calm down. Michael was probably just having breakfeast downstairs.
He dressed up and made himself relatievely presentable, finding a disadvantage in hotels that you can't take your breakfeast in pajamas. He went to the dining room and joined Michael and Charlie, pecking Michael on the cheek for good mesure because well, they were supposed to be a couple and sat whith them after going to fetch his own food.
He sat down next to Charlie, who glanced between them with an odd look before shrugging and going back to her food. Technically, the table was a circle so he was also next to Michael but whatever.
"So what are we going to do today?" Lucifer asked, because he had forgotten to look at the schedule.
"Nothing," Michael anwsered. "Well, there's a meeting up with all of your distant relations but you're not obligated to go. Other than that, I think there'll be a party at the pool tonight but I don't remember clearly."
"You're not gonna go, are you?" Lucifer asked, knowing that Michael hated parties.
"Nope," Michael answered, popping the p. It was a habit he had gotten from Lucifer.
"But you'll go, am I right?" Charlie asked Lucifer.
"Of course I'll go, who do you take me for!"
Charlie then looked at Michael, a puzzled look on her face. Michael sighed, knowing that not going to a party when your 'boyfriend' went didn't sound very couply.
"I'll pick him up two hours in the party, at that point he's always drunk enough to start doing stupid things."
That reassured Charlie and she smiled, finding it fun how much Michael knew Lucifer.
~~time skip to the party because I have so much to say about it~~ it kinda becomes slightly a crack but I don't care
Just as he said, when the party had been going for two hours, Michael dropped by to take Lucifer home.
But he was extremely surprised when he saw Lucifer kissing a guy in the corner. Then he noticed a man who was looking at the two with a sort of amused disapproval. Deciding to make the better of it, and ignoring the pang of jealousy in his chest, Michael made his way to the stranger.
As he walked closer Michael saw that the man's hair was blond, his eyes green and his eyebrows incredibly thick.
Michael tapped the stranger on the shoulder. "You're not here because of the wedding, right? I don't remember seeing your face anywhere."
The man laughed. "No, I'm here with my boyfriend- who it currently snogging that guy over there- because we had to pick up our twins Alfred and Matthew. Actually we're leaving tomorrow," he said in a dense english accent.
"Oh, so it's your boyfriend that's making out with mine! Interesting," Michael replied. "Name's Michael."
"Arthur. Tell you what, we're not even boyfriends, we're just, I don't even know, it just kind of fell on us. We never made it official, you know."
"Yeah, us neither, he just needed a date so he wouldn't get pitied."
They continued talking, all the while looking at their passionately-making out 'boyfriends'.
"Hey, what about we exchange numbers and tomorrow when Luce wakes up, I'll tell him the guy he was kissing had a boyfriend, film his reaction and send it to you. What do you think?"
Arthur laughed. "That's amazing. I'll make sure to send you a clip of Francis too." They fell into a comfortable silence. "Well, as much as I find this funny, I'd like to have my boyfriend back now."
This time it was Michael's turn to chuckle. "I have the best for that, just wait here." He went to find Charlie, then pointed to her Lucifer and Francis.
A slightly tipsy Charlie stumbled towards the pair as Michael walked back to Arthur, looking at the show that was about to happen.
Charlie pulled the two drunk and kissing men apart, yelling at them, slapping them both across the face, them yelled some more and pointed to where Michael was standing.
Seeing Michael with his arm crossed and a strange smirk on his face made Lucifer cringe through his drunkenness, vaguely able to remember that they were a couple. Beside him, Francis had the same reaction in front of Arthur, who had the same pose as Michael.
Michael said bye to Arthur and took Lucifer by his arm, dragging him back to their room. As Lucifer was too drunk to function properly, Michael had to shove him his pyjamas in his arms to make him change, pulling him form his haze.
As he was laying in bed Lucifer went to open his mouth and Michael sighed, bracing himself for the worst. Lucifer was a very emotional drunk.
"I'm sorry Mickey," Lucifer slurred, to the point where it was almost incomprehensible. "I could never cheat on you, I love you so much."
"I know."
"But he was hot and- and he was French! Please forgive me Mickey, I love you"
Michael rolled his eyes. "I know. Now go to sleep."
🎶I'm making this up as I go🎶
No but really, I don't even know on which day the wedding's gonna be. Next day maybe? I don't know.
