I was back in a small wooden room. The same one I was 'held' at when we found Merle. I was dwelling on the thoughts of last night. I remembered everything, and I didn't want to. I was tough, I knew that.  But after Gabbie and Lori, last night, I lost myself again. And I was afraid that I would do something to harm the group.

It happened with Gabbie once. I lost myself desperately. There was this show called Stranger Things back before all of this. And there was this boy and he got lost in another dimension. He could hear his mom's voice muffled. It was as if he was fading it out manually, but he wasn't trying to.  It was an automatic sense of what happened to him.

I was snapped out of my mind when I heard a fe fi fo dumping outside the door. That fatty Phillip is probably coming back. Instead, it was Daryl's bald bastard brother.

Just Merle

"What do you want"? I asked bluntly. I stared at him fiercely as he sighed and sat on the floor, in front of me.

"Listen, I'm sorry. But, I need to ask you 'bout Daryl". He said seriously. I looked at him and gave him a shrugging look.

"What do you want to know"? I asked him, expecting many many questions.

----------------------

I was still stuck in this little room until I heard the familiar rhythm of a shootout. This means that my group is here. I got up from my place on the floor, bruises, and blood still stained on my face. My legs have several bruises and a few knife scars.

I began baking on the walls and screaming as loud as I could.  After minutes, Maggie and Glenn came through the door and opened the door. My face lit up, as they looked back behind them, and back at me.

There were soldiers on their tail, and there was only one way this was going to go down. They needed to leave me.

"RUN"! I screamed as they shook their heads, tears appeared on Maggie's face.

I looked at them both. "Go God Dammit"! I screamed as they left the room.

They ran and ran. I was sitting back down on the floor as soldiers paraded through the door. They put a bag over my head.

"What the fuck. Let me go"! I demanded. They ignored me pulled me up from the floor, and handcuffed my hands on my back. They began dragging me, and from what I could see from the small transparent holes through the bag, it was a huge group of people and another two people in bags.

The governor

There were so many people in the formation of a circle. Chanting, shouting, screaming.

"Today we are gathered to witness some entertainment, but also punishment. My top man, Merle Dixon, treated us for a girl he doesn't know, and for his own brother"! The governor yelled and ripped the bag from my head. As I opened my eyes, I noticed Merle's face top my right, and to my left was...

Merle's, brother, Daryl.

"Hey! Let her go"! He screamed as he looked in my direction. I shook my head and blinked my eyes twice, 'telling' him that I had a plan. We made some coordination using our eyes in case of things like this.

"So Merle, If you're really so loyal to us, you will kill these two people. They- They will fight to the death"! The governor yelled joyously. The small crowd cheered and sat down.

I looked towards the governor and noticed Andrea standing right next to him. This is going to be a hell of a fight.

"Begin"! The Governor said as all three of us got into a position. Merle began saying how loyal he was to this group before I knocked him on the floor.

I stood on top of him and whispered to him. "Follow my lead". I said and knocked another punch in his jaw, to make it look convincing. Merle got to his feet and knocked me to my side, then he pounced on Daryl as gunfire erupted killing some of the innocent and the walkers surrounding us.

I made eye contact with the brothers and motioned for them to follow me. Gas flew up in moments, as we ran to the gates of Woodbury. We found a way out, and we were met with Maggie, Glenn, and Rick, with a dead Oscar on the floor, and a mysterious woman in the driver's seat. I, Daryl, and Merle were hopping into the card when Rick's voice erupted.

"No. Not him"! Rick said. I turned my head to Rick and shook my head. "Not the time"! I yelled as gunfire from Woodbury deafened our ears.

We drove out of the mileage for Woodbury, and the mysterious woman halted the car on Rick's command.

"Get out everyone"! Rick said as we all got out of the car. Merle gulped as we all stood in a circle.

"He's not coming back with us". Rick said, looking down to the floor as I huffed my voice.

"What? You think he should come home with us"? Rick said angrily. I gave Rick a look.

"What? You wanna say something"? He asked rudely.

"Yes, I do. Merle isn't the bad guy here. Merle is a jackass, but he helped us get out. Plus, he is useful".I said confidently, Daryl giving me a nod and a stare from Glenn.

"What"? I asked Glenn. His face hardened as he opened his mouth.

"Really? You want him to come home with us? You want him sleeping next to Beth...Carol...Maggie...you"? He asked.

"After what the Governer did to you"? He said impulsively. I lunged at him, despite the pain suffocating my body. I shoved him against the car. Maggie, Rick, and Daryl all begged me to stop. They stopped when I saw Glenn's hand stand out signaling for them to stop.

"That is not your place to say! What is your problem?" I screamed in his face. Still shoved against the wall, I saw the expressions of Daryl, and he looked sad and angry.

"He ain't a rapist". Daryl said sadly and again, angrily.

"But his 'friends' are". Maggie said. I looked back to Glenn against the car, still shoved there not moving my grip on his green sweet- zip-up.

I gave him a threatening look. "You best keep your mouth shut about what happened". I said as I gritted through my teeth. daryl's lingo lingered on me.

I let him go, as he gave me a look, and went back to stand by Maggie.

"They're not friends anymore. Didn't you see it? Are you people blind? Damn it. It's your pride. We could use extra hands.." I said and looked back at Merle.

"Hand. The extra hand". I corrected.

"She's right. The Governer will be rolling right up to your gates. We best get going". Merle said. Rick shook his head.

"He is NOT coming back with us to the prison". Rick said sternly. I thought about it, and in a way, Merle saved my life. I owed him mine.

"No, him no me". Daryl said calmly. I gave the rest of the group.

"No, them no me". I said confidently as regret appeared on Rick's face. Daryl looked shocked.

"Yes! Once we leave you will realize that we were right". I said as I made my way to the woods and near Merle.

"What about Carl"? Rick sprung at me. I was so mad at everything that I couldn't focus on what was important. Trying to convenience Rick to bring Merle back to the prison. Instead, I'm just fleeing. But I am blind to this.

"He's a tough kid. Plus, aren't you his dad"? I spat at him. Maggie and Glenn turned their heads towards me.

"May we meet again assholes". I said and disappeared into the woods with my boyfriend and his jackass of a brother with a serial murderer on the run, a promise I still couldn't fulfill, and an important person in my life who is dead.

Plus, dead people walking around. What could go wrong?
