Monday: 2:00 AM—The Waldorf Hilton

By the time Lenny woke up again, it was technically already Monday. He glanced over at the digital clock on the nightstand beside his bed. 2:05 AM it read. That pill he took earlier for his hangover headache had knocked him out for hours. On the bright side, he didn't have a headache anymore and he felt better in general. He knew it would be a while before he went back to sleep and there was a possibility he wouldn't sleep anymore at all.

To pass time and get rid of the smell of alcohol off him, he decided to take a long steamy hot shower. That would gave him time to think and meditate.

Monday: 9:15 AM —Rehearsals

"When Craig finishes his solo then you can come in with the saxophone." Lenny instructed his saxophone player.

Despite having an odd sleep schedule throughout the night, he was feeling pretty energized and that was a good thing. With his upcoming world tour just days away, rehearsals were a necessity.

After giving his instructions on how he wanted the live arrangements to be set up, rehearsals resumed with everything running smoothly. During the 10 song rehearsal session, all the minor adjustments were corrected to the point where they was at Lenny's standards. Two and a half hours later, Lenny and his bandmates were preparing to leave rehearsal hall he rented out whilst in London.

While Lenny was putting his guitar in its guitar case, Craig walked over to Lenny.

"Guess what."

"Hm... I give up. What is it?"

A sly smile grew on Craig's face before he answered the question.

"I'm having lunch with Jimena today. Sort of a lunch date if you will."

The news caught him off guard. So off guard that Craig's announcement just went over his head. He looked up at Craig once his guitar was in its case.

"But why though? Of all the women in this city—in the world, you decide to ask out my make up artist?"

"Sure. Why not? She's single. I'm single. It'll give us a chance to get to know each other. And if I play my cards right, this could become steady which would be perfect since we'll be on the road together."

Lenny picked up his guitar case and sighed deeply in annoyance. He loved Craig to death. He was literally like a brother to him, but sometimes he did things that just didn't make any sense.

"Alright, Craig. Just be sure to behave yourself. She's such a sweet girl. Don't do anything that may make her uncomfortable."

"I always behave. You need not worry."

"Right... but nevertheless, have fun."

He turned to walk away from Craig. Sure he and Jimena had nothing going on between them both, but he couldn't help but to feel disgusted by the fact his best friend was going to be out with her. Alone. In a little romantic lunch setting. He didn't like it at all.
