3rd POV

The fall of Beacon had commenced. Everything was in ruins, Grimm littered the streets of Vale, the White Fang initiated a mass slaughter of innocents and unyielding Grimm. The Beacon Crusaders have become divided and on the verge of defeat as their core members are either Retired or Missing.

The only person left standing is Ruby Rose herself as she reaches the summit of Beacon Tower with determination burning within her heart.

Ruby: "CINDER!!!"

Ruby shouts with rage and venom fueling it.

Cinder: "Wow. Is that you getting closer?"

Cinder says as she eases the tension on her bow string, takes her attention off of a wounded Pyrrah, and turns to the young Rose.

Ruby: "It'd be pretty hard to beat you from here, so yeah, I am."

Ruby replies mid strut.

Cinder: "Heh, I'm right here."

Reaching a good distance, Ruby slides her finger across the rim of Y/N's hat and shouts with the pride of a Lion...

Ruby: "Star Platinum!"

Earlier

Amity Arena has been shook. Mass panic ensues as Cinder's ominous speech resonates throughout the building. The fear brought upon by Penny's death and Cinder's speech explodes luring in a Nevermore who breaks through the shield protecting the arena and lands on the floor with an ear piercing caw.

Ruby: "YAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Ruby from out of nowhere stabs the Nevermore in the chest with her fallen friend's sword making it screech in pain. She jumps back and gets in a battle stance.

Ruby: "Leave her alone."

She states coldly. The Nevermore caws once more as it takes flight and charges towards her until it was caught off guard by a Stand powered punch to the beak stunning it long enough for it to be impaled by over a dozen rocket lockers. Ruby looks on in surprise until Prime walks past her and goes to take a closer look at the near death Nevermore.

Prime: "Oh look... you're stuck. How about I fix that?"

Star Platinum: "Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora ORAAAA!"

The Nevermore was punched full of holes leaving it to slowly dissolve into a dark fog.

Prime: "That was eas-"

Thud!

A Griffon Grimm lands on the foggy remnants of the Nevermore and roars.

Prime: "Why did I say tha-"

Crash!

A locker crashes on top of the Griffon's head, crushing and killing it. It opens to reveal Ruby's Crescent Rose and a gallon of Ice Cream with a sticky note placed on the lid. Little J moves to Prime's side and looks at the locker in awe.

Little J: "That was surprisingly eas-"

Then a multitude of squawks and roars can be heard as multiple Nevermores' and Griffons' are seen flying in circles around the arena.
