So, most of us know Harold's canon family, right? (There might be more than one, according to the books and TETOCU, and the fact that we haven't seen his family in the movie). Well, I decided to list all the different ways his family looks (some of these are really bad tho, sorry):
1. Harold, his mom, and Heidi. His parents got divorced when he was five, and his dad moved across the country. This is canon to the books.
2. Harold and his mom. Heidi never existed, and neither did Harold's dad. His mom god pregnant with a donor, and he grew up with no father figure. However, his mom had a series of awful boyfriends. The two of them moved a lot, and the place they've stayed the longest is Piqua, where they live now. Harold sometimes worries that they'll have to move again, even though his mom promised that they wouldn't, unless worst came to worst. (Some of this might be canon to TETOCU, I really hope we find out in s4)
3. Harold's dad is actually dead, he died in an accident a long time ago (This one is mine) (Still a WIP) (I thought of it a few months ago, when I already knew that Harold didn't have a father figure at home, but before I read book 9) (Future fic?)
