(the beginning will start off as third person)

charlie entered the ally way where fulton was shooting pucks in to the street.

"hey fulton, you ever think about hitting in to the back of the ally and not the street." charlie asked him.

he shook his head "not really." fulton continued his shots and ended up hitting someones window. charlie flinched at the sound of the glass breaking. "i just found out portman isn't coming, hes staying in Chicago. how uncool is that?"

"no, you've gotta be kidding me.." charlie said in disbelief.

"found out bombay bailed and he bailed too, what good is one bash brother? what am i now? mr bash, the bashman?" fulton too another shot in to the street hitting goldberg in the process.

"ow watch it, please!"

"sorry goldberg." charlie said.

"oh, no problem, guys, life isnt bad enough i gotta worry about being nailed off the ice too. why am i always getting shot at?" goldberg asked turning to fulton.

"your a goalie, dude, deal."

"well put. thanks fulton, real sensitive." goldberg sarcastically  said,

"your welcome."

"hey isnt vicky suppose to meet us here?" charlie asked fulton.

"she said she would." fulton mumbled and turned his attention back to his stick and puck, obviously not wanting to talk about her. charlie shared a concerned look with goldberg. usually fulton wouldn't stop talking about vicky.

"are you guys okay?" charlie asked.

"man, I dont  know. ever since she got back from new york for the summer shes been...different."

charlie raised an eyebrow. "different how?" and as if on cue, vicky skated in to the ally way.

"hey guys." she smiled. when charlie and goldberg got a glimpse of her and knew exactly what fulton meant by 'different'. for starters her hair was significantly shorter and now just grazed the top of her shoulders, her outfit was a white long sleeve top that hugged her body and a light pink plaid mini skirt, and she had definitely started working out this summer. this wasn't the vicky the boys were used to. they didnt know exactly what to say.

"is everything okay?" she nervously questioned. the two boys snapped out of there thoughts.

"uh yeah..we uh should get going." charlie said grabbing his bag.

"yeah we definitely dont wanna be late on our first day!" she said skating away.

"fulton I hate to break it to you but your gonna have to keep an eye on her this year." charlie patted fulton on the shoulder and went to catch up with vicky.

"if a...if you guys arent thing anymore..id be happy to her off your hands-" fulton pushed goldberg on the ground and skated to catch up with vicky and charlie. "hey it was just a suggestion!" goldberg shouted getting up.

the four ducks skated off to meet up with the rest of the team.
