"He was so totally crushing on you!" I tease as Heather seemed uninterested in him. "He's just being polite." She responds in a quiet manner Josie sat on the couch with a cup of coffee in her hands. Aaron had gone home to get ready for another part time job of his. Today was mine and Josie's off day.
"You're so lucky your parents send you money. You never have to work!" Josie tells Heather who shrugs, "Yeah, but I never see it as my money. You know? It's my parents money, more like. So i feel guilty." She says, "I only use what I need. Plus, I'm on the verge of finishing my last year of school. I just need a little more and I'm gonna try to find a good job."
"You need to shop?" I ask sarcastically with a smirk on my face. She rolls her eyes playfully, "Yes. It is."
A knock on the door shuts all of us up. I open the door to see Sebastian smiling nervously with a set of keys in his hand. "Hey, could you help me with something?" He asked, his blue eyes flickered at me, then at Heather. And back at me again.
"Yeah? What's up?" I say, smiling a little. He brings me to his front door. "I noticed my lock is the same as yours, and I just got it so I have no idea how to use it. I got locked out of my house." He says, his words laced with embarrassment. I chuckle at his dorkiness. "I'm a grown-ass man and I can't even figure out how to work a lock!" He makes fun of himself, Heather laughs, making him blush.
"How old are you anyways? I think we're all younger than you. Oh! This is Josie, by the way." I point to Josie, who awkwardly smiles and waves. "How's it going, man?" She asks, he politely greets her back.
I continue working on the lock, it seemed to be stuck. "So you doing anything for the weekend?" I ask Sebastian. He shakes his head, "I'm super busy. I might go down to this taco place down the street."
"Oh my god - the taco truck outside of the mall?" Josie asks, excitedly. He nods at us. "No way! That's like our hangout place. You HAVE to join us! We were just thinking about going tonight!" Heather chimes in. "You sure? I wouldn't wanna intrude." I finish unlocking his door, "Done." I say, standing up. His face lights up, "Oh geez, thanks a lot!" He says, patting my shoulder. The sudden touch makes heat rise up to my cheeks.
"You should definitely join us, by the way." I say quietly, he smiles a big grin at me. "Yeah! It'll just be us three and another friend!" Josie adds.
After a couple seconds of thinking, he finally says yes.

A couple hours later, Josie and Heather went back to their respective homes to freshen up and do whatever they needed to do. I opened some songs and danced around in my room. My window was right across Sebastian's, and I could see him watching TV in his room. But I didn't want to stare and seem creepy, so I just shut the curtains and continued on dancing. Then, I had to get ready for tonight. It was just a simple hangout, so I put my fawn-colored hair into a ponytail, put on some winged eyeliner, did my brows and lips and added some accessories. I wore light blue jeans and a long sleeved blouse and to top it all off, I got some converses, a scarf and a small beanie.
I texted Sebastian to tell him that I would be outside waiting, but as soon as I got outside he was already there. We decided to walk to the place together.
"So, what brings you to this apartment, or maybe to New York in general?" I ask him, he laughs at me. "You know I'm an actor right?" I tilt my head to the side, "I didn't." He sighs happily, "I expected that, but that's good." A good look at his face made me realize something.
"Oh! You're that guy from the Captain America movies! The Winter Soldier or something right?" I ask, hopefully and excitedly. He chuckles yet again, "Yeah. I got a moderate amount of fame...and stans? But I like to stay off of social media, so no one really bothers me." He explains. I nod along to everything. "That's good, I wouldn't want any crazy fans attacking me for living next to you." I joke and he laughs. A cold breeze sweeps by and I feel myself shudder as the breeze sends shivers down my spine. Sebastian notices this immediately and takes off his sweater.
"Take this." He said, handing me his sweater. I reluctantly take it.
"Wouldn't you be cold too? I don't wanna make you catch a cold...." I hesitate but he cuts me off.
"Ahhh it's fine! You look better in it anyways." He says in a nonchalant manner, putting his arm around my shoulder.
That's when the feelings started.
