Aaron and I sat closely together, enjoying each other's silence and tacos. The other three were standing and conversing.

"Dude likes her." He finally speaks up. I raise my eyebrow at him mid-chew. "Your neighbor, Sebastian." I give him a look of understanding. But I was still skeptical.

"Look at the way he stares at her when she's talking, versus when Josie's talking. Maybe she likes him too, she's laughing at all his jokes." He says, staring intently at the group. I chuckle hesitantly, "I guess so - how do you know all this?"

He shrugs, looking down at his taco as if its the most interesting thing in the universe. "I'm very observant."

"Yeah, I know. Maybe you're right. I like him though, he's really funny. They like him too, he might join us again." I tell him.

Before Aaron has a chance to speak, Heather makes her way to us, "Whisper, whisper. What are you two talking about." She says with a coy smile on her face. Aaron and I look at each other and shrugs with nonchalant grins at her. She stares at us in a chagrin manner, "We're done so we're gonna head home, Josie and I. I've got work piling on my desk as we speak."

Josie chimes in, "And I've got to get home to watch videos of cats 'till I fall asleep at 5 in the morning." Aaron chuckles at her, "Yeah, for sure. I'll drive you two home. It's all good."

Sebastian stands there awkwardly with a half-finished taco in his hand. "We'll just walk back." I say, eyeing him. He looks up and nods with an unsure face. My worn out vans softly grind against the cold, hard ground as I stand up.

"So, how was your night?" I ask. "You guys are really fun to be around. I wouldn't expect anything less from a group of cool kids who are way too young to be hanging out with me."

I laugh and slap him on the back softly, "Oh please, you've got more personality than any other 'young' person I know. You're cool for a 30 year old." Sebastian grins at my reply. The freezing air kept us close together as I hugged my arms in his warm sweater. Sebastian seemed unbothered by the cold, he actually looked like he was enjoying it.

Shops beside us started to close as the lights in the city dimmed and people went home to their families. "I just feel weird hanging around you guys. It's like I'm out of place." He admits, kicking a pebble out of his way.
I shake my head profusely, "No way! We really like you, I can tell. Even Aaron and he never likes anybody. Besides, you've got friends here too, right?"

Sebastian sighs, "Yeah but their all snobby and boring. I've only got a few close friends and they're mostly all actors so everyone is super busy. You know Chris Evans?"

My jaw almost drops to the floor, "Chris Evans? THE Chris Evans? Captain America? Of course I do! He's actually so hot."

Sebastian laughs at my awe, "I could introduce you to him if you'd like. He's one of the few friends I hang out with all the time." I nod enthusiastically, I almost felt like one of those bobbleheads you see on a car's dashboard.

He laughs and you can see the crinkles forming near his eyes, that's the best kind of smile. Sebastian had one of those laughs that were special, you might hear it once or twice in your life. They were the type of laughs that made you happy too, it could bright up anyone's day.

We get to our apartment complex in no time, but he stops at his door while I'm just about to unlock mine.

"I don't feel tired yet. If you want to, we could watch a movie or something?" He asks meekly with a slight hint of uncertainty in his voice. He was so cute, how could I have said no? I nodded and stepped into his apartment.

I knew he was rich because of the whole acting thing and all, but damn, his apartment was like way nicer than mine. Everything in his house was monochrome except for maybe a couple pops of color here and there. He did live alone so I expected some kind of messy, unorganized bachelor pad. There was artwork and everything too.

"Now I feel much more insecure about my place." I half-joke. He chuckles but shakes his head, "No, I prefer your place actually. I feels cozier and - more lived in. It's a bit lonely here." He replies. I plop down on his black couch, it was the softest cushion ever.

"So you wanna watch anything specific?" He asks, handing me the remote as he opened Netflix. "Scary movies!" I reply almost immediately. I loved horror movies, they were so fun to watch and interesting. I also liked all the other genres but this was way more satisfying watching the other person squirm and shake in fear next to me. I was pretty much immune to horror movies at this point. I knew all the cliche tropes and what not.

He gives an unsure look but Sebastian finally relents. "S-sure."
