a friendship that is bound by fate.the day finally arrived. the day that jisung would come back. minho was beyond anxious. he trusted jisung and had prepared a lovely life for them to live out together the way they are supposed to be: as soulmates. but would jisung come back? he had to. he promised...
jisung had been awaiting the day as well and as he watched down on the boy from in the sky, he couldn't help but think that he was so cute for worrying so much. sprucing up his appearance, practicing what he will say, how he will stand, and how he will smile in the mirror. jisung knew that minho had no reason to be nervous though, because it was going to be the best day of their lives.
minho figured the place that would be the best to meet jisung again would be the place of the meteor shower, the place where jisung wished minho's vision back and sacrificed himself.
minho had often visited this place since jisung's departure because something about being out here in this empty, quiet field, make minho feel close to jisung again.
night fell and minho nervously waited on the hood of his car. it would be strange to see jisung in person for the first time and actually be able to touch him since pre school. he would be able to see his cute little face and hug him small frame so tight. he wanted to show every once of love he had stored up for the boy that saved his life. his soulmate. his jisung.
something caught his eye and he jerked his head up towards the sky. a meteor. it soared across the sky and left a twinkling path of light behind it. minho knew. he knew who it was.
"han jisung.." minho called out as he reached his hand up to the heavens.
in a brilliant flash of light he felt something grab his hand. the flash had made minho squint his eyes and he was too afraid to open them. was it really jisung holding his hand? or was he imagining things?
"hi. it's been a long time."
minho shot his eyes open to see the most beautiful boy he'd ever seen smiling lightly back at him, the reflection of the starry night and misty tears in his eyes.
"jisung!" minho cried out as he leaped into jisung's arms. as soon as he felt the smaller boy's arms wrap back around his torso the tears started flowing.
"jisung.. i- i missed you." minho said between chokes and sniffles. "i.. i love you."
jisung moved to make eye contact with minho, cupping his jaw lightly in his palm.
"i love you too. with every beat in my heart. im not going anywhere."
with that jisung slowly guided his face closer and closer to minho's. hearts pounding more and more with every centimeter they grew closer. minho's tears of joy never stopped. he was finally getting exactly what he wanted his whole life. to see the boy who he loved to dearly. to see him again, to finally share everything together.
and then it happened. their lips met. every once of love they had pent up for each other spilled out into this single touch, it was all they had wanted. all they ever truly needed. it seemed as if the heavens were rejoicing because as soon as this happened the sky lit up with what was similar to northern lights but where golden, similar to what had covered jisung's body up when he was within the sky.
when they finally parted from the kiss for air, their hands interlocked and their foreheads touched. they smiled as they embraced once more.
jisung spoke once more, "the truth is, without you i felt like there was no reason to be alive, but now that i have found you, i've found my soulmate. and that's gives me many reasons."
minho grabbed his face gently and kissed him once more. "oh jisung, you don't know how much i missed you."
jisung giggled and his eyes squinted due to smiling so hard. "are you happy now that your wish was granted min?"
minho couldn't find the words to say, truly he was just happy to have jisung back too much to think about much else.
jisung saw his flustered nature and decided to be his usual playful self again. "tell me, baby." he said raising an eyebrow and smoldering his lips.
this caused minho to giggle and grab onto jisung's hands once more, holding them up to his chest protectively.
"you know we only have each other now. we really don't have anyone..." minho said referencing to their family who they have lost through their relationship and minho's family that left him.
jisung interjected, "-and that's fine with me. even when battling against the universe. but that's over now, so we can finally be happy again.
minho nodded in agreement.
they embraced once more.
in the following years minho and jisung lived together happily. they moved into their house together and eventually got married. although neither one of their families came, all their adopted family came. it was a magical day, a day full of love and celebration with them and all their friends. in the following years they wanted their friends get married and have children. in fact- minho and jisung ended up adopting a child of their own. they named her hope. because they realized that the most important thing in life is to have hope.
minho and jisung faced many trials in there life. they faced all odds and came out on the other side better than ever. love pulls through and conquers all.
jisung showed minho the world through his eye sight, showed him companionship on how to live with his disability, showed him family when they both had none. but now they could both show each other the most important thing of all. love.
so show me, i'll show you.
so show me, i'll show you.
so show me, i'll show you.
show you.
show you.
