"What do you think Daxter's up to now?" Turning to Jak, I held on the side of the car feeling the wind pass by my face and the other cars passing by us.
Jak stepped on the gas going even faster. "I don't know, he told me he was going to the bar up north. I got a bad feeling about this place." He growled, turning his head towards me. "The threats we're getting are not surprising."
Looking behind us, I saw the cars that passed turned around and started tailing our behind. "Better step up, we got some company." I brought attention, climbing to the too of the car and facing them. "You might wanna drop some bombs." I commented.
Jak dropped some eco mines, but it didn't pose a threat to them seeing how they swerved around them. They started firing at us, as I dropped flat and pulled my ears down to avoid to bullets. "Can you take care of them?" Jak started boosting us with blue eco, but they copied us to keep hounding us down even further.
"Not if they keep trying to shoot at us."
Jak's body already took over all the darkness in the night, glowing the beautiful blue and wrapping a sheild around the car. The cars behind tried to damage us but couldn't get us, letting me stand and look at them. My body flooded with yellow as I tried shooting at them rapidly while I switched from one hand to the other to charge my shots, but they all scattered from my yellow eco's poor movements at this high speed.
"I can't land a shot, it's going to fast."
"We're out of boost."
That meant they were too. "Jak hold on!" I smirked, flashing my body with blue eco and sparks flew with my hair spiking up and instantly giving us the boost we needed to loose them. "Woohoo!" I screamed holding my hands against the car to charge it, climbing back in the car seeing how they couldn't keep up. "Lost them!"
"Get down." Jak told me, as we start going faster to the bar. I should say into the bar! He was heading right for the glass! I covered my head with my arms as we hit the glass case of fishes. Jak parked the car inside of the restaurant. "Dax! Get in the car!" Jak commanded, standing up and glaring at him.
"Jak! Are you crazy!? You ruined my story!" Daxter complained.
Looking around us, I saw some not pleasant bar guests standing up and looking at us. "Now!" I shouted, one holding a knife up. I pulled up my hand and blasted him before he could throw it at any of us.
Daxter jumped onto the car. "What are you waiting for? Step on it!" Daxter barked back, Jak climing back in and reving the engine til we boosted it the hell out of there.
"We told you not to go out tonight!" Jak growled at Daxter. "We're getting death threats! Someone doesn't want us here."
"Ya' think!? I say we take the next boat home!"
"Not a chance!" I retorted back as we continued driving and Daxter whaling up a storm.
