Chapter 13: You Want Me.

I had finally got comfortable on my bed I hear the doorbell ring. I groan getting back up. Michael had left about a hour ago and I hadn't seen Rachel all day. Luke is no where to be seen, but I'm pretty sure he's not in the house. I run down the stairs and open the door.

"Kasey!" Brook exclaims throwing her arms around me tightly. I hug back after a few seconds of shock.

"Hi.." I say. She pulls away and hits me in the arm.

"I heard about what you were trying to do." She tells me. I step away before she could hit me again.

"uh.." I say scratching the back of my neck.

"You cant do that!" Brook says. "What did Rachel say about this?"

"She hasn't said anything or talked to me." I reply. She shakes her head.

"What were you doing before?" She questions. I point upstairs.

"Date with my bed." I tell her. She giggles grabbing my arm.

"Not anymore. " She smirks pushing me out the door.  I cry out in surprise.

"I had no shoes!!" I cry trying to push her back into the house.

"You don't need shoes." She tells me.

"Where the hell are we going! This is kidnap!" I exclaim when she opens the door. She pushes me in and rolls her eyes.

"This isn't kidnap. I am not going to harm you." She says. "Gesh, Kasey."

"I don't want to go anywhere, Brook." I whine looking out the window. She starts the car, ignoring me.

"BROOK PEREZ! Let me out of the car."

"No." Brook says calmly. I roll my eyes banging my head on the window.

"Kasey Irwin." She says. "You need to get out for one day."

"Nօ I need everyone to get off my back. For just two minutes." I tell her looking over at her. She frowns adjusting the rear view mirror.

"You have been up in your room enough. Kasey we graduate in a couple months, babe. Get with the program! Make some memories!" She exclaims. "There's nothing like your high school years."

"You sound like mother." I tell her. "Mum is always telling me I need to live in the moment. "

"Your mum is correct. I completely agree." She tells me. I yawn laying my head on the window.

"I still hate you." I groan.

"Sure you do." She mumbles, "I love you."

"Rachel! Devin! I have her!" Brook yells closing the door with her foot. All of a sudden I'm being lefted up and spun around. I giggle when I realize its Devin.

"I have missed you so much!" Devin exclaims. "We all have!"

"We really do miss you, Kasey." Brook says walking passed me. I look over at Rachel. She smiles motioning me to follow her. I oblige following her out of the hallway.

"I'm sorry, Rachel." I say when she comes to a stop. She shakes her head smiling at me.

"You know, Kasey, for all the yewrs I have known you, you have told me everything. Why not this?"

"I don't know, Rachel. I didn't know how to tell you." I say. Her expression changes from the sad one to a understanding one. "I couldn't just come up to you and be like.. 'I cut' or some shit."
