"Sabi ni manang madaling araw kana raw umuwi" My mom said while we were having breakfast, still a little hangover, my head is literally spinning like a top.

I received a message from Drew kanina saying good morning. Just what I needed the most to kick start my day from the hangover

"I'm sorry mom, my friends and I had this little celebration after the event at West" I explained,

"You should have been studying Elizabeth, we don't want to screw your perfect record now don't we?" she said,

"Yes, I understand mom, but my grades are fine." I replied

"So, how did you get home by the way?" She asked

"Miguel drove me here" I said

"Oh, you mean Miguel Gonzales?" She asked, a little excited as she stared at me with eyes wide open. I gave her a nod

"Good, I mean he's a graduating student now right? That boy is truly smart, and his mom is a doctor too, it's kinda impressive" she said

I seriously don't know why she can't leave and change this topic behind

"So?" I replied, napakunot noo ako

"Honestly you two would be a perfect couple" she smiled at me, clapping her hands.

"Oh God Mom, we're just friend alright? Plus he's Nicole's cousin" I replied

"So what?!" She rolled her eyes "He can help you since he's also going to med school"

"Mom stop, we're just friends"

"Hi tita!" I arched my brow when I heard a familiar voice.

"Hi George,you're here" she smiled sweetly I know at the back of her mind she wanna mock my mom. They all know what my mom's like

"Come here, join us for breakfast. She smiled widely

"Sure tita, hindi rin po ako naka pagbreakfast eh" umupo ito sa tabi ni mommy, Dad's not around because he's still in the Hospital, and si mom naman ay pang gabi that's why wala siya kagabi at si daddy nakatulog na rin.

"Are you with the squad yesterday?" My mom asked George

"Oh yes tita, I'm so sorry we weren't able to..."

"Its fine dear, as long as walang masama nangyari sa inyo" my mom cut her off

"Elizabeth Daniele, pakibilisan please" George said while may ka video call. I stared at her she's having vc with a guy, baka nakita niya nanaman sa dating apps. That girl

"Sino na bag o naman na?" i said while lumapit ako sakanya

"Gaga hipos kada" She let me see the guy in the screen

"Pinoy? " I asked her since the guy's feature is somehow mixed

"Secret" she said as she stick her tongue out like a kid, I rolled my eyes. I continue fixing my hair, aalis na rin kami after. Ewan ko ba bat parang lagi sila nag aaya na gumala, George said na sobrang boring daw sa kanila at yung friends ni kuya Glen tumatambay don.

"George you said kuya Glen's friends are at your house diba? "

"Yeah" she said still focusing on her phone, nagstop na ata silang mag vc

"Is Kuya Allen there?" I asked trying to make her uncomfortable, we all know na ginhost siya ni Kuya Allen.

"Shut up Beth, I don't care kung nasa Bahay siya" walang modo niyang sagot.
