Black Steel and Black Rose (Gajeel x reader)

Fairy Tail

As (Y/N) and her exceed, Sakura, walk through the town of Magnolia to the Fairy Tail guild hall, (Y/N) starts getting a little nervous. She looks over at the pink exceed, "Sakura? Do you think they'll accept me?"

Sakura looks over at (Y/N) and smiles, "Of course they will! You're a very strong wizardess after all!"

(Y/N) smiles softly and nods, "Thanks Sakura."

She looks forward once again and sees the Fairy Tail guild hall up ahead. She takes a deep breath and sighs softly, 'Here goes nothing.' She thought to herself as she approaches the doors. She slowly starts to open the doors and sees a table flying at her. Out of habbit and instinct, she defends herself, "Nature Dragon Iron Fist!"

The table becomes splinters and everyone looks at (Y/N) in shock. (Y/N) starts backing away, feeling even more nervous than before, "I...... I'm so sorry. I just-"

As she tried to explain, a pink haired boy runs up to her and starts sniffing like a dog, "Who are you? And why do you smell like a dragon?"

He gets closer and keeps sniffing, making (Y/N) really uncomfortable, "Nature Dragon Roar!"

(Y/N) sends the boy flying across the hall, hitting the bar really hard. She looks up and gasps, "I am so sorry! You were just too close and-"

"THAT WAS SO COOL!!!" The boy comes running back over to her, "So you're a dragon slayer too?! That's So Awesome!"

He keeps getting closer until an iron club sends him flying into a wall, "Damn It Flame Brain! Leave Her Alone!"

(Y/N) freezes and feels her face heat up. She looks over her shoulder and sees someone she hasn't seen since they were kids, "G-Gajeel?"

He looks down at her and smiles, "Hey there (Y/N). It's been a while."

(Y/N) feels a few tears run down her face and talks Gajeel into a hug, "Gajeel!"

All he could do was chuckle while wrapping his arms and her waist and picking her up, spinning around, "Good to see you too Black Rose."

He sets her down and she looks up at him, smiling, "I've missed you so much Black Steel. I didn't know you were a member of Fairy Tail."

As they talked, a little old man walks up to them with a closed eye smile, "Gajeel, who's your friend here? Is she wanting to join the guild?"

They both look at him and Gajeel put his arm around (Y/N)'s shoulder, "This is (Y/N). We grew up together, but got separated when we were kids. She's the Nature Dragon Slayer known as the Black Rose Dragon."

(Y/N) bows a little, "It's nice to meet you sir. Me and my friend, Sakura, would like to join your guild if that's okay with you."

The old man smiles even more, "Of course you can. My name is Makarov and I welcome you to the Fairy Tail family."

(Y/N) smiles brightly at Makarov and see a woman with white hair walking towards them, "Hello! I'm Mirajane Strauss. Where would you like your guild mark and what color?"

(Y/N) smiles and points to her heart, "In black please."

Mira smiles and stamps the guild mark onto (Y/N)'s chest, "Welcome to the guild (Y/N)!"

Everyone started cheering and welcomed their newest members while Mira stamped Sakura's back. Gajeel just stood there, admiring his old friend with a small smile on his face, 'I can't believe she's here.'

"GAJEEL! FIGHT ME!" The pink haired boy from before yelled while blowing fire in his direction.

The fire made contact, but not with Gajeel. Everyone went silent as they saw a dark aura around (Y/N), "Natsu, You Idiot!"

Gajeel took a few steps back from (Y/N), knowing just how angry she can get, "Natsu, huh? So that's your name."

(Y/N) looks at Natsu as her (e/c) eyes turn blood red. Everyone in the guild hall starts getting scared, but Natsu just grinned, "You wanna fight me? Then let's-"

He didn't get the chance to finish speaking as he went flying out the doors. (Y/N) steps outside and dragon scales form on her skin, "You dare challenge me? The Black Rose Dragon? You asked for it."

Natsu ran at her, but gets knocked out with one hit to the face by a tree. Everyone watched in shock as Natsu fell to the ground unconscious and (Y/N) calmed down. Gajeel slowly walks up to her and puts his hand on her shoulder softly, "(Y/N)?"

(Y/N) looks up at Gajeel with a big smile on her face, "That was fun!"

Everyone started laughing and cheering as Gajeel shook his head, smiling, "You haven't changed one bit."
