Mating Season

Spring time is a beautiful time, but it's also dangerous, especially for Dragon Slayers. When spring come around, it's mating season for us Dragon Slayers.

Even for the wannabe Dragon Slayer, Laxus.

As I sit at the bar in the guild hall, I sigh softly to myself, thinking about what might happen this spring.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" I look up to see Mira looking at me with a sad smile.

I sigh again, "Yeah. Just a little stressed. It's mating season for all Dragon Slayers, so be careful around the males."

Mira giggles and leans over the counter to whisper to me, "Do they get aggressive or really aroused?"

I couldn't help but smile at her, "Both. The female Dragon Slayers just feeling aroused and want to try and get pregnant when she finds her mate."

As I finish the explanation, a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist and a chin lays on top of my head, "The males also get really protective and jealous, so stay away from other men." Gajeels voice was like music to my ears and I lean into him.

Mira squeals in excitement, "You two are so cute!" As she says that, someone appeared behind her and pulled her into them.

I look up to see blonde, spiky hair, "What's up, Sparky?"

Gajeel chuckles as Laxus gives me a dirty look, "Don't ever call me that again, Rosey."

I growl and go to punch him, but Gajeel holds me tighter against him, "Calm down, (Y/N). We don't need you to try and kill him again."

I sigh and lean into him again, "You're lucky, Sparky. If Gajeel wasn't here, you'd be dead by now."

Laxus pulls Mira against him tightly and nuzzles his face into her neck, making her blush, "L-Laxus?!"

I shake my head and feel myself being lifted into the air of throne over Gajeels shoulder, "Come on, Rose. We need some alone time."

I could hear the grin in his voice and gulped a little, "Gajeel! I don't think I'm ready for this!"

All he does is chuckle as he carries me out of the guild hall, "You will be once we get to my house."

I could feel my face heat up and see Natsu carrying Lucy to his house and Laxus carrying Mira, 'This is bad.' I look at Gajeel as we got closer to his house, "Gajeel?"

"Hm?" He didn't even look at me whatsoever. Just kept walking.

I sigh and blush a bright red, "Are you sure you wanna become a father right away?"

He stops in his tracks with wide eyes, "I didn't think about that."

"Exactly! Female Dragon Slayers wanna get pregnant as soon as the find their mates during mating season! Are you sure you wanna be a father this soon?!" I yell as I try to wriggle my way out of his arms.

He tightens his hold on me and grins from ear to ear, "I don't care. It's kinda exciting if you ask me."

I stop wriggling around and go wide eyed, "W-what?"

He chuckles and sprints to his house, making me scream and grip onto him, "You're in for a long night, (Y/N)! You can count on that!" I could see his house getting closer, "You're not gonna be able to walk after mating season is over!"

"GAJEEL!!!" I scream at him, fearing I would fall head first onto the ground with him sprinting.

He slows down as we got closer to the front door and he opens it, "Welcome to my dungeon, (Y/N)." He chuckles as he locks the door behind us, "You're not getting away from me for a while."

I gulp as he makes his way up the stairs, still carrying me over his shoulder, 'What is he going to do to me?' Letting out a small sigh, I finally found my voice, "How long am I gonna be staying here?"

He lays me on his bed and hovers over me, looking straight into my eyes, "You're staying until mating season is over. So prepare yourself, beautiful, because you're not going anywhere."

He nibbles on my shoulder softly and runs his hands up my shirt slowly, making me moan softly, 'I'm not gonna be able to walk for a while.'

Gajeel bites down onto my shoulder as hard as he can and I scream in both pain and pleasure. He pulls away slowly and licks the spot he sunk his teeth into, "You're mine forever, (Y/N). Remember that."

I growl softly and bite him in the same place, feeling his nails dig into my hips and hearing him hiss in pain and pleasure. I pull away and lick the spot I sunk my teeth into and whispered into his ear softly, "And you're mine for all eternity. If any other woman tries to get with you, I'll rip her head off."

He grins and wraps his arms around me, "Do you have any idea how sexy you are?"

I bite my lip with a small grin on my face, but then, an idea came to mind, "Gajeel, I need to go get a few things from my house. Can I go get them real quick?"

He frowns a bit, but nods a little, "But hurry back. Or else, I'll come after you and punish you."

Well, I told him I'd be real quick, and it was the truth. I sprinted to my house, gathered a bunch of stuff and told Sakura and Lily that they needed to stay away from Gajeels house during spring. They understood as I ran out of the house. I even stopped at a few shops to buy a few things before sprinting back to Gajeels house.

As I walk through the door, I notice that the house was very quiet. I walk in after taking my shoes off and hear the door slam shut, making me jump and spin around to see Gajeel standing there in nothing but his boxers, "What took you so long?" He growls at me a bit.

I growl back, "I told you I had to get a few things, Gajeel. Also had to let Sakura and Lily know to stay away from here for a while."

He went wide eyed, totally forgetting about our exceeds, "Oh... I forgot about them."

I giggle softly, set everything in my arms down, and wrap my arms around him, laying my head against his chest, "It's okay, Gajeel. They know not to come over for a while."

Gajeel wraps his arms around me and nuzzles his face into my hair, "Do you need help with everything you got?"

I bite my lip and snatch one of the bags away from him, "Not this one. This one's a surprise. You can take the rest to the bedroom." I kiss his cheek and grin, "I'll be in the bedroom in a bit. Wait there for me."

He grins as I make my way up the stairs and to the bathroom, "Don't take too long, babe."

"Okay!" I smile as I enter the bathroom, 'You're gonna love this, Gajeel. I promise.'
