Black Steel and Black Rose (Gajeel x reader)

Laxus

The mission went fine at first, but then Gajeel had to get his underwear in a wad over a guy talking to me at the restaurant we went to after dealing with with bandits. It was almost like he was jealous, but I just ignored him.

After collecting the money and heading home, I felt so exhausted. Sakura and Lily were curled up together beside me in the guild hall while I read a book I picked up on our way home.

"What're you reading Black Rose?"

I look up to see Gajeel looking at me, "Why do you care? Go bug Levy."

I close my book and get get up to leave, but Gajeel pulls me back, "(Y/N), what is up with you? Why are you so angry with me?"

I growl and pull my arm away from him, "You've been ignoring me since I joined the guild! Just leave me alone!"

Sakura had woken up and followed me out of the guild hall, "(Y/N), are you okay?"

I stay silent for a while and sigh, "I'll be fine, Sakura. I just ca--" I get cut off by something hard in front of me. I fall back and rub my head, "What the hell?"

"Hey, watch where you're going!"

I look up to see a blonde guy with a lightning bolt scar on his face. He wore a tiger print shirt and a coat with fir around the neck, sleeves, and bottom along with headphones, dark brown pants, and boots, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"Mean to what? Be a dumbass and run into me?" The man was starting to get on my nerves.

I get up and smile sweetly up at him, "No. I'm sorry for running into an asshole of a man who really needs anger management classes just to get himself laid." As I spoke to him, my anger started to boil out of me and I spoke him in the chest, "I'm not gonna be pushed around by some asshole who thinks he's better than me just because he looks tough! So if you don't mind, get out of my way and don't ever let me see you again!"

He looks me up and down and then stares at my chest, "You're a  member of Fairy Tail? I've never seen you before."

"I haven't been in the guild long. Why?" I cross my arms and glare at him.

He grins and unbuttons his shirt, revealing the Fairy Tail guild mark on his left side, "Because I'm a member too sweetie. You'll be seeing me around more often."

I look him up and down and sigh, "Not impressed."

He looks at me with shock all over his face, "WHAT?!"

"You're not a real Dragon Slayer and you're too buff for my taste. So, I'm not impressed."

I lean against a wall and sigh again. Feeling someone in front of me, I look up to see the blonde standing there, "How do you know I'm not a real Dragon Slayer?"

"Really? You may smell like one, but I can smell the lacrima. I'm not stupid."

He puts his hands on either side of me and leans in a little, "So you're a real Dragon Slayer, huh? What's your name?"

I try to slip away from him, but he is really close, "I'm (Y/N), otherwise known as the Black Rose Dragon." And with that, "Nature Dragon Roar!"

I send him flying and start running back to the guild hall, hearing him running after me, "Get Back Here!"

I run through the doors and jump over the bar to hide behind it, "(Y/N), what's wrong?" I look up to see Mira with worry written all over her face.

I open my mouth to explain until he burst through the doors, "Where The Hell Did She Go?!"

Mira understood and just smiled, "Who are you looking for, Laxus?"

Laxus walked up to the bar, "(Y/N), now where is she?"

I ready myself to attack and count down, '3... 2... 1!' I jump over the counter, kicking Laxus in the face and knocking him to the floor, rolling away from him before he could get me.

He gets up and looks at me, "You've got some skills, I'll give you that."

"Better than you apparently." I stand there, crossing my arms again.

He grins and gets a little closer, "I can show you some of my skills tonight at my place if you want."

I blush a bright red and back up a little. Before I could say anything, an Iron Club sent Laxus flying out of the guild hall, "Stay away from (Y/N) asshole!"
