Black Steel and Black Rose (Gajeel x reader)

Love?

My heart hurts. Why must I feel like this?

I look out my bedroom window as the rain pours over the entire town. It feels like my heart is crying along with the rain. I sigh softly, "Why do I have to be in love with him?"

After watching the rain for a few minutes, I hear a small crash downstairs in the living room. Sakura jumps up and grabs her sword, "What was that?"

"Stay here, Sakura. I've got this." I make my way down to the living room to see a flower vase broken on the floor. I slowly make my way over to it and start picking up the peices. As I finish cleaning it all up, I feel a presence behind me.

"(Y/N)." I sigh softly, recognizing the voice.

I stand up and turn around, coming face to face with Gajeel, "Gajeel, what're you doing here?" As I get a good look at him, I notice something off about him, "Gajeel?"

He slowly walks closer to me, his crimson eyes full of something I've never seen in him before, "(Y/N), I need you."

I back up against a wall, feeling a  little scared, "Gajeel? What's wrong with you?" Then it hit me like a brick, 'Oh no. Mating season.'

"(Y/N), please. I need you." Gajeel pins me up against the wall and notice something else in his eyes... Love?

"Gajeel?" I feel my heart skip a beat and feel warmth in my core that I've never felt before, "Gajeel? What's going on?"

Gajeel presses his forehead against mine and puts his hands on my waist, "I don't know, (Y/N). I just want you."

He leans in slowly and closes his eyes. My heart skips a beat again and I close the distance between us. The kiss was sweet and full of lust. My arms make their way around his neck to deepen the kiss.

We slowly pull away for air, "(Y/N), I need you." He pulls me closer to him and whispers into my ear, "I love you."

My heart speeds up a bit, "I love you, too, Gajeel."

Love. The word rolls off my tongue like sweet honey and as our lips meet again, my fingers tangle themselves up in his hair as Gajeel lifts me up and holds me against the wall, wrapping my legs around his waist.

"(Y/N)! Is everything okay?!"

I gasp, remember that Sakura is just upstairs. Gajeel looks over his shoulder and opens his mouth to speak, but I cover his mouth quickly, "Everything's fine, Sakura. It was just a flower vase."

"Okay. Well, I'm going back to sleep. Okay?" Sakura asks with a yawn.

"Okay." I bite my lip and look at Gajeel, "We should stop. I don't want Sakura to see anything." He nods a little and kisses me one more time before setting me back on my feet.

As I start to walk towards the stairs, Gajeel stops me, "Sleep on the couch with me?"

I bite my lip a little and smile, "Mkay."

We both walk over to the couch and he lays down, pulling me on top of him. Wrapping his arms around me, "I love you, (Y/N)."

I smile and lay my head on his chest, "I love you, too, Gajeel."
