Chapter 5

They all woke up in the morning to tidy up the rented house. They had a really bad headache.

" Are you okay?" Tyson asked Ashley.

" Not really hey, i have a bad headache plus i have an early shift today at work, so i should be at work around 09:00" she said touching her head and closing her eyes.

" That's bad, I'm sorry please drink water, i can take you to your apartment and to work too" he said

" No it's okay babe there's no need"

" No i insist, please" he begged.

" Fine, how can i say no to a free ride" she smiled.

" Since we are all done cleaning, go freshen up and then we will go" he said.

" Yeah sure no problem" she smiled.

Ashley went to the bathroom, took a bath and then wore her clothes and came back downstairs.

" Where are the girls?" She asked looking around the house.

" Oh Alexa left already, Halsey and Akeelah are taking a bath" Tyson replied

" I just wanted to say goodbye to them, but anyways I'm gonna be late for work so let's go" she said.

" Yeah let's go, you may lead the way" he smiled at her.

They got out of the house and went to the car, they got in and drove off. They arrived at the apartment. Ashley went to wear her uniform and then went back to the car. And they drove off.

" Well that was quick" he smiled.

" I don't wanna be late" she said.

" I'm glad you're taking your job and your course very serious, it makes me happy" he said placing his hand on Ashley's thigh.

Ashley smiled, " Well I'm sure in 5 years you will be the one representing me in court when i got on the wrong side of the law" she said.

" Not that i will though" she added.

Tyson looked at her and shook his head and then focused on the road. Finally they were arrived.

" Thank you, i should probably get going" she said as she turned to get off the car.

" Just like that?" He opened his eyes wide.

" What do you mean babe?"

" Not even a kiss, or a hug?"

She rolled her eyes and smiled, " I'm sorry" she then kissed and hugged him.

" Drive safely okay"

" Thank you, and i love you" he smiled.

" I love you too"

He watched her as she went to her job. He then left. She quickly got there and started doing what needed to be done. Then she had a break, sat down and ate.

" Uhm hi can i sit with you?" the other male employee asked.

Ashley looked at him and nodded. He sat down placing his food on the table.

" Well I'm Micheal i thought i should just introduce myself since we work together but we never had like a general talk you know" he said.

" Yeah I'm Ashley, it's really nice to know you now and finally have someone to talk to during break time" she smiled.

" You have a beautiful smile, everything about you is on point like you tick every box" he complimented her.

She blushed, " Oh well thank you, but not everything though, I'm not as good as you think i am"
