It Was Love At First Sight.

Chapter 14

"Where the hell have you been"? Mike asked.

Ashley came home late from Akeelah'. Akeelah's mom and the sisters wanted her to have dinner with them. But luckily she brought her home.

" I told Tyson and Dian where I'm going, so i don't get why you're asking this" Ashley replied.

" Ashley, can we talk"? Tyson asked.

" Talk about what"? Ashley raises her eyebrows.

" Please let's go to your room" He begged.

" Yeah sure"

They went upstairs to her room leaving Mike and Dian sitting on the couch watching soccer as usual.

Tyson kept looking at Ashley.

" Talk"! She yelled.

" I don't get why you're yelling but nevermind. Look babe I'm really sorry about what happened earlier. It  was wrong of me. Please forgive me"

Ashley was still upset about what happened earlier. She didn't like it.

" How would you have felt if the tables were turned? If i had a conversation with your sister or cousin about how i hooked up with guys back then"? Ashley asked.

" I wouldn't have been pleased either" Tyson replied.

" There you have it"

" But that's not the point babe. I'm really sorry, please don't be mad at me" Tyson begged and made those teary eyes, he knew Ashley couldn't resist those.

" I forgive you" She replied.

" Thank you, Thank you"!! Tyson shouted excitedly.

" Pleasure"

" So there's a party we are planning to attend" Tyson said.

Ashley raised her eyebrows, "What party"?

" Uhm it's three streets away from your house, Me, Dian, Mike and Akeelah are going. What about you"? Tyson asked.

" I don't feel like going to a party" She replied.

" Come on babe don't be a buzzkill. I'll protect you all night long please let's go"

" Okay fine" She replied.

" But who's party is it"? She asked.

" Some guy called Mark" Tyson said.

Ashley flinched when she heared the name of the guy. Mark was a guy that's been wanting Ashley for years now but couldn't get her.

" You okay"? Tyson asked.

" Yeah sure I'm fine, can i please be alone" She said.

" Okay no problem" Tyson went out of the room and went downstairs. Ashley started thinking:

This party is happening at Mark's house. The guy has been annoying me ever since i started high school. He's older than me infact. Just the thought of him makes me sick. But i wouldn't want to spoil people's mood.

Eventually she accepted and went to take a shower in her bathroom. She got out and wore her Pajamas and went downstairs.

" Next time you decide to dissapear, please let us know. We were worried about you" Dian said.

" Yeah whatever" She replied rudely.

" I'm serious Ashley"! He yelled.

" Okay, Okay I'm sorry" Ashley said and went to the kitchen. She took her food and poured herself a glass of wine and went to sit down.

You're probably thinking she's a drunkard. No she's not. 🤣

" Coming to the party"? Mike asked.

" I thought Tyson told you that i am" She replied.

" He didn't, I'm sure it slipped his mind" Mike replied.

They engaged in a conversation. Laughing, teasing each other and so on. They really enjoyed each other's company and besides Ashley and Tyson are leaving on Sunday.

Ashley was now drunk. She drank the whole bottle of wine. Tyson lifted her up and they went to the room saying goodnight to the guys.

He put her in bed and wrapped her with the blankets. He went to shower and then came out and slept next to Ashley.

" I don't get how you can give birth to such a child, this thing doesn't have respect. I should have killed her when i had the chance" Ashley's father said.

" Don't ever say that. This is my baby and i love her, go find a child you can kill"! Her mom yelled.

" What did you just say"?

He didn't let her talk again. He started hitting her so hard. Ashley kept crying.

" You're making noise"! Her father shouted at Ashley and turned to hit her.

" You're hurting my child, you're hurting me Daniel"! Her mom screamed.

" You two deserve it" He replied and continued to hit the both of them.

Ashley's mom passed out, Ashley went to her.

" Mommy, Mommy please wake up"

" Mommy" Ashley screamed.

" Ashley what's wrong"? Tyson had no idea what was happening.

Ashley was sweating and heavy breathing in the middle of the night. She couldn't speak. Tyson went to the kitchen and fetched water. She drank and calm down.

Mike and Dian ran to her room. They got in the room.

" What's wrong"? Dian asked as shocked as he was.

" She just had a nightmare and I'm trying to calm her down" Tyson replied.

" She used to have those after mom died. I thought they would been gone by now" Mike replied.

" She's going through a lot, it's really a lot to take in" Tyson replied.

" I'm sorry sis, everything will be fine" Dian said.

Ashley just nodded. She then laid down her head and looked at the  cyling. Dian and Mike went back to their rooms.

" You sure you're okay"? Tyson asked.

" I'm fine" She replied softly.

Ashley layed her head on Tyson's chest. Tyson just played with her hair up until she dozed off again.
