Fast forward. They all wrote their exams, Ashley and Akeelah decided to go back home.

Ashley went home and found her brothers inside the house.

" Hey Lil sis, why didn't you ask us to fetch you?" Dian asked.

" I didn't want to bother you guys, i just want to be responsible" Ashley replied.

" I understand"

" Where is Akeelah?" Mike asked.

" She's at her home, i arrived with her, why?

" Oh no I'm just asking" He mumbled.

" I missed you guys, let me go put my bags in my room" She replied.

Ashley went upstairs to her room. She put the bags on the bed and then went downstairs.

" How is your arm? I've been willing to ask" Mike asked.

" My arm is better now, I'm no longer feeling any pains"

" Where is Tyson?" Dian asked.

Ashley rolled her eyes, "Duh he's at his home too, everyone left to their homes" Ashley replied.

" He's really a cool guy, i like him. Actually we are now friends" Dian said.

" Friends? How come i don't know that?"

" I told him not to tell you, i wanted to tell you myself" Dian replied.

" No wonder you guys have been so close lately" Ashley said.

" Yeah we are"

" So what's for lunch? I'm starving" Ashley said.

" I was thinking we should have food delivered here" Mike said.

" You have money to buy the food?" Ashley asked.

" Yeah i do"

They quickly ordered food. Their food was delivered and they sat down and ate.

"So when are you going back to Campus?" Mike asked.

" Are you trying to get rid of me?I have just arrived and you wanna get rid of me"? Ashley asked.

" No I'm not trying to get rid of you, i just wanted to know"

" No it's fine I'll leave next week Monday" She replied.

" So early"? Dian asked.

" Yep it seems like I'm no longer wanted here so I'll leave on Monday"

She stood up angrily and went upstairs in her room. She video called Tyson, they talked for two hours. She then went downstairs to watch tv.

" Sis please don't leave it was wrong of me to ask when are you leaving, it came out rudely. I'm sorry" Mike said.

Ashley looked at him and kept quiet and turned to look at the Tv.

" So you're going to ignore me"? He asked.

She kept quiet still.

" Just leave her alone, you always hurt her feelings" Dian replied.

" But i-.."

Dian stopped him before he could continue to talk, "No save it"

They continued to watch some action movies. Ashley didn't speak to him even when he tried to talk to her. Mike regretted what he has said to his sister and he couldn't apologize because Ashley doesn't wanna hear anything coming from him.
