It Was Love At First Sight.

Chapter 11

Ashley got woken up by a loud noise coming downstairs. She got off the bed, wore pajamas and went downstairs.

" Hey what's with the noise here"? She asked as she winced in pain while touching her head.

" Hey Sis I'm sorry for the noise" Dian replied.

" Yeah right you seem to have forgotten that i have a headache" Ashley replied.

" I'm sorry, do you want breakfast"? He asked.

" Yes please"

Dian stood up and went to the kitchen. Ashley followed him.

" Where's Mike"? She asked.

" Oh Mike went to work" he replied.

" Alright"

Dian prepared breakfast for her and gave her the food. Ashley went to sit down on the couch and ate.

" Sis I'm gonna go now, will you be okay"?

Ashley feared being alone, she asked herself many questions about her safety.

" Yeah I'll be fine" She lied.

" You sure"?

" Yeah I'm sure" She faked a smile.

" Okay i love you, bye" Dian replied as he quickly took his car keys and got out of the house.

Ashley started looking around the house. She got scared. She then texted Akeelah and told her to come over.

Akeelah said she will be there in an hour.

She stood up, took the bowl and washed it in the sink. She then went to her room to bath. She got out and wore a white mini skirt with a black t-shirt and black sneakers.

She braided her hair nicely and then went downstairs. Akeelah texted her and told her she's outside. They were going out for the day.

Ashley took the house keys, locked the door and went to Akeelah. Her brothers had their own keys too.

"Hey friend, i missed you" Akeelah hugged her.

" I missed you too" Ashley replied.

" Are you okay"? Akeelah asked.

" Yeah I'm fine friend"

" Okay so where are we going Today"?

" I was thinking we should go shopping" Ashley replied.

" Great idea let's go"

They waited for a taxi, it came they got in and went to the mall. They bought many clothes and shoes.  Jewelleries, make up kits.

They then did a window shopping. After a while they went to McDonalds and orderded their lunch. They sat down and ate.

While they were sitting there, a text popped in on Ashley's phone. It was from an unsaved number. The text read as follows:

I didn't forget what you said to me bitch. You're still going to pay for leaving me. I don't even know why i dated you, you're just a useless piece of shit. I'd be very careful from now on if i were you.

Ashley was shocked. Her heart started beating faster, she was now sweating. She wished she could go back to Campus. Akeelah tried to calm her down and told her that they should leave. She was now better. They took a taxi and went to their township.

Akeelah accompanied her home. They stood far away from the gate. Ashley said she was okay. Akeelah then left her to go to her home.
