Chapter - 12

Jasper POV

I don't like the new kids. I couldn't read or manipulate their emotions, it was frustrating. A few of them approached us and a girl, Piper I think, started talking.

"Hey guys, we know your situation with the... Creature as you call it"

We stiffened. I could feel distrust radiating from Rosalie and Edward, shock from Alice and Emmett, and Curiosity from the human.. Er... Bella.

I quickly calmed down the atmosphere, making it more hospitable for the humans to speak. Amy smirked, as if knowing what I was thinking. Did she?

"How did you know?" Edward asked, stepping forward and pulling Bella behind him. That had become his natural reaction to anything unknown.

Another girl, Hazel I think started talking.

"We can explain more if we come to your home... By the way... We also know your vampires"

What???? How was that possible????? What gave us away???? Was it that human... Bella????

Edward growled in response to my thoughts. Ok... Maybe not the human.

"How??"

"It's pretty obvious if you ask me. If we hadn't figured it out in a day well... That's just sad." Amy said, shrugging.

I'm pretty sure my family mirrored my expression, which was shock.

"And your not worried? Scared?" I asked. Even if I couldn't 'read' their emotions, I was pretty good and deciphering them, which was boredom.

The blonde guy, Jason, shrugged.

"If you were us, almost nothing surprises you anymore."

The other guy, Frank stepped up.

"We also know the Quilletes and some others are shifters. You might want to get them to join you all"

Well.... That was interesting.

"How are you going to get there? Do you need a lift?" Alice asked.

The blonde girl, Annabeth shook her head.

"We have our ways."

With that, they walked towards the rest of their group.

"So.... Are we going to need their help?" Rosalie asked.

Edward vigorously shook his head.

"We don't need to involve anyone else. They're humans, kids for god's sake."

"Let's first see what they want to tell us" The human.... Sorry.. Bella said.

I nodded, agreeing with her. Oh Joy.

Frank POV

Amy and Percy vapor travelled us to the Cullen's, unfortunately startling them. Great. Just what we needed. A bunch of suspicious vampires and shifting wolves. What could possibly go wrong?

Ok Amy. I get it. A lot could go wrong. There were two more vampires with them, who looked a little older.

The guy is Carlisle, and the woman is his wife, Esme. Carlisle is their Turner.

Ok, good information.

"Where are the wolves?" Annabeth asked, looking around.

"We're here" A bunch of guys came out, one was a girl.
