Chapter - 21

Edward POV

"WHAT DID YOU JUST DO???!!!" Amy shouted at Rosalie. To say she looked murderous was mildly putting it.

Shadows creeped up around her, and the skies darkened, thunder rumbling in the distance. I could hear the stream churning and roiling.

I gulped, and the demigods immediately backed away. Unfortunately, my so called 'sister' didn't have a brain.

"Oh... Sorry this ugly thing? Just thought it was a pebble so i threw it to the ground where it belongs" She said.

To be honest, even I didn't know why she was fretting over a simple necklace. Maybe it held some emotional importance?

Amy spun, and glared hard in my direction. I quickly backed away. I knew she read my mind.

"Sis... What did she do?" Percy asked, but he was afraid to look at her in the eye.

"She broke the necklace Hecate gave me" She said in a deadly calm voice. oh oh. If someone spoke like that it meant rage beyond sanity.

The demigods spun to face her, and Emmett placed his hands protectively on Rosalie.

"Come on guys!!! It's just a necklace!! I'm sure you can find another one!!" He protested.

Nico, Thalia, Jason and Percy marched up to them, glaring all the way.

"Just a necklace?.... JUST A NECKLACE!!!!" Thalia screamed into their faces. I was glad I was not them at the moment, as much as I hate admitting it.

"You idiot girl.... YOU'VE JUST PERSONALLY SIGNED ALL OF OUR DEATH SENTENCES!!!!" Nico shouted.

Wait.... What....?

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Piper started explaining, her eyes narrowed.

"Demigods leave off a certain scent that monsters track. That necklace was supposed to mask Amy's scent, as she alone can bring out an army of monsters. But.. " She trailed off.

"But as your pig-headed sister broke it, we probably have about 5 minutes until an army of monsters walk up and kill us all" Percy said, glaring at me.

Annabeth glared hard at Rosalie, who shrunk under her gaze. She held Amy's shoulders comfortingly, as she started to calm down.

"Fighting is not going to solve this. And even if we ask Hecate for another necklace, the monsters would have found us by then... So.... Just be prepared" Amy said, once she had calmed down.

Frank nodded, and went to calm down the Angry son of Jupiter. Annabeth had to coax Percy away from Rosalie, and Amy was whispering to Thalia.

Hazel and Nico were discussing, and occasionally glanced at us with hatred.

I honestly don't know what to think right about now.

How about why you have a sister like Rosalie?

Well... That's not going to solve anything is it?

Not really... But it's still something... Interesting to think about

I can't argue with that logic.

She cracked a grin, but stiffened.

"They're here" She whispered.

Oh golly... I can't WAIT for this....
