Chapter - 17

Percy POV

Ugh.... Why? Why me? Why is this happening now? Amy should have just let me go!!! Why!!! I could have protected her... I could have saved her!! I could have...

"...Rcy? Percy? Perce?? You there??" Nico was shaking me.

I snapped up, and stared at everyone. Thalia and Nico were in shock, Frank was like Jason... Trying not to cry. Leo was.... On fire again. The girls were otherwise crying.

"Percy...? How... How did she...?"

I looked down in shame. What if they blame me? I should have been taken!!! Not her!!

"We... Annabeth and I had the same nightmare again.. Amy usually stays to stop it... But.. Tartarus appeared this time..and wanted a trade off. He wanted Amy,,. And in exchange he would stop the monster attack. I tried to give myself.. But Amy knocked me aside and gave herself instead. I'm so dumb!! I should have been there!!! I could have stopped her!!! I should have gone instead!!! I could have..."

"Shut up Percy" Jason snapped.

I looked at him, shocked.

"Stop blaming yourself for everything!!! Gods!!! It's not your fault!!! Never was never will!!" He shouted, before storming out.

"I'll go after him" Piper said soothingly, before rushing after him, shouting his name.

"Calm down Percy... We need to find out where she was taken" Thalia said.

I nodded. Crying will not help us... We need to train the vampires and wolves if another attack happens.

"Ok... Thanks guys. Let's first clean up, and then head for breakfast. Then we can start... " I started.

I was cut off as the air above the door shimmered. Jason and Piper returned, with Jason looking relatively calm.

"What...?" Piper started. Leo pointed above their heads. They looked up  and gasped rushing towards us.

An iris message.

The image shimmered, and showed a grinning Tartarus. Everyone gasped.

"Well well... If it isn't the sea spawn and his little friends. I thought I was going to have to settle with you. Looks like your little sister had other plans"

He moved aside, and I stared in horror. The guys were staring, and Piper screamed.

Amy was looking really bad. Her ankle was twisted horribly, and it looked like her legs were completely broked. Her shirt was in tatters, and her face was covered in blood. Three jagged scars were on her face, from her head to her chin. Her right arm was bent in a sick way, and her back looked strained. Blue markings covered all of her chest, and words were written on her arms using a rusted knife.

Pathetic

Not a hero

Puny

Worthless

I was smoking with rage. My sister!!! They dare do this to her?

I'll kill Tartarus. I'll torture him if it's the last thing I'll do.

Her sides were red, as if burnt multiple times.

"What. Did. You. Do" Nico seethed, gripping his sword so right his knuckles were white.

"I was having some fun" Tartarus laughed cruelly.

Amy's head snapped up, but she screamed in pain. That small movement was too much for her.
