My eyes snap open. I can feel something wet tap endlessly on my pale face. My sight clears a bit and I am looking up at the dark void known as the sky. Feeling a sharp pain on the front and back of my head, I wince and lightly swipe my fingers on my forehead. I retrieved my fingers to discover blood on the tips. Blood and rain water melt down my face while I stumble to my feet. I lose my balance and fall on my butt.

Great, I have a freakin' wet, muddy bottom now.

I pick myself up and wipe off the back off my homecoming dress. I sense something under my broken high heel shoe.

My glasses.

My deadgum glasses.

I can't see anything without my babies.

I bend down and hold the black wide framed glasses in my hands. The lenses are cracked as well as the frames. I gently fold my fingers around them and scan the area to see if I know where I am. I can't recall anything that happened. There's a big oak tree with a-

"MY CAR!" I choked.

I don't remember ramming my other baby into a tree. I only remember I was at the dance. I must have hit my head too hard while it crashed. But I am a great driver, I can't imagine I crashed into something!

Wait...how did I manage to exit the vehicle. I seriously don't remember that. I stare at my damaged, filthy mint green car with my blurry vision while tears, blood, and rain ran down my face. How am I going to get home?

I feel something in my left hand. I peek down at what I'm holding.

MY PHONE! IT IS A MIRACLE!! HALLELUJAH!!

I press the power button. It flashes on to my surprise. I was expecting this to be like one of those movies where everything goes wrong and everything is hopeless. I squint and bring my phone to my face. I read the power sign...

....it has ninety percent of power left! I grin to myself and scanned the premises to see if I can recognize this road.

I do! Thornghost Road, I believe! I could tell because of all these patches of thorns and crap crowding the area.

I type in my friend's number quickly with my shivering hands. I really don't want Dad hearing about this, he would kill me. The phone rings and turns off. I pause and check the cell service and the left corner of the smartphone's screen.

"NO BARS?!! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!" I screamed.

How am I gonna get someone to pick me up now?!! This pretty much stinks. I pray to God that if I move a few paces back, the cell bars will go up. I move carefully in my shoes into the middle of the wet field. I angle my phone and...

"DEADGUMMIT!!"

I feel a presence behind me and I pause. Is there a person here? Maybe they could help...

I turn around and gasp.

yes I know, this is the old chapter two. I'm lazy. sorry. three will come soon though!
