I'll sing to you about wilted sunflowers
I'll sing to you about a lightless sun
I'll sing to you about the world we bother
About explosions, collisions and how it begun
I'll tell you the secrets of the golden raindrops
I'll give you all the luminous nights
I'll help you carry the sky when we're under it
And then take us above it's height
Because you deserve an anthem written for you
So does your heart
You deserve a satellite revolving for you
And a billion stars
And you deserve pictures painted for you
With colours of art
Now I'll put me all around you
To cover your scars
And can you see the Milky Way shining?
It's telling you, you're deserving.
I'll protect your flame from burning out
I'll protect your flame from burning yourself
I'll keep snow and hoses ever so ready
So don't be afraid to call out for help
I'll let you free your pain in our conversations
I'll show you all the colours it radiates
I'll let the rainbows dance on your skin
Until it entirely dissipates
Because you deserve a thousand poems written for you
So does your mind
You deserve a guide guiding you through
Until you find
The part of you you wanted to show off
Behind the blinds
And you deserve a standing ovation for you
For picking yourself up when you fell behind
And can you see the Milky Way Shining?
It's telling you, you're deserving.
