Zaria laid in bed all day ignoring everyone around her. She lost both parents in one day and that was a different type of hurt. That hurt her more than anything. Her family decided to have both parents funeral the same day so they could be buried together.
"Zari baby you have to eat." Jayceon said sitting on the foot of the bed with a bowl of Ramen Noodles. Zaria ignoring him and looked blankly at the wall. He sighed heavy. "You ain't eat all day. Im worried about you." Jayceon said and Zaria continued to ignore hin.
He left the bowl on her nightstand and walked out. Everyone was here and was worried sick about Zaria. They found her at the hospital laying on the floor screaming and crying asking herself why and asking God why take both parents the same day.
Zaria was in pain beyond words and all she wanted to do was sleep her pain away. "Im worried about her." Taliah said sighing. "We all are but what can we do? She refuses to speak, she won't eat and all she does is sleep." Taliah looked away knowing how her friend grieves.
Zaria went through many loses one of those loses being her Grandmother. Her grandparents died in a similar way her parents died. Her Grandmother had stage four cancer and when she died her Grandfather killed himself. He died of a broken heart too.
"Y'all dont understand the way Zaria grieves death. She stays quiet like this, not eating or speaking to anyone and then after the funeral she pushes everyone away intentionally. Our friendship nearly ended because of the way she grieves. Then when she's finished she's cold hearted and doesn't care about feelings. She blocks everyone away." Taliah explained.
Jayceon looked at in fear their relationship would be damaged. "How did y'all go back to being friends?" He asked.
~Memory Lane~
Zaria walked into the school with her signature mug face. She went to her locker and opened it putting her books inside. "Hey babe." Her boyfriend, Lexis walked up to her kissing her. Lexis was a gang member. "Hey." She said turning around to go back to her locker. "Wanna go out later?" He asked licking his lips. "I would but i have shit to do." Zaria said.
Zaria was pissed because she found out Taliah had sex with Lexis. Although Taliah claims she was raped Lexis says he came onto her and drugged him with some type of horny pill.
Zaria wanted to believe Taliah but chose not to because it was easier to push her away. Lexis walked away and Taliah took his place. "Zaria please im telling you the truth!" Taliah cried. She's barely had any sleep.
"Taliah go away. You slept with my boyfriend how much of a slut can you be?" Zaria said slamming her locker. "Zaria im telling you he raped me. I understand your fucking grieving Zaria and you want to push me away but i have fucking proof!" Taliah pulled out her phone and showed Zaria a footage tape of what happened.
"See? I ain't do anything!" Taliah said. Zaria looked at Taliah missing her best friend. "I know you wanna push me away but Zaria i will always be here for you. I will always stick by you no matter what."
After that Zaria broke up with Lexis and they were back to being friends. "Zaria will do everything in her power to push y'all away. Its up to you guys to allow her to or stick by her." Taliah said. Javon who shrugged thinking that it would be easy but Jayceon was uneasy because this could damage their relationship.
"Y'all want some Chinese?" Taliah asked and left without asking what they wanted. "Mommy Z?" Aaliyah asked and Jayceon sighed. "She sleep Liyah."
