Zaria laid on the couch watching tv when Jayceon walked into the living room. Zaria immediately tensed up and he sat next to her. "Why you all tensed?" He asked her and Zaria looked at him slightly scared. "Jay you hit me yesterday." She said with tears burning her eyes.
"Wait, what?" He asked genuinely confused. "You slapped me. Are you doing coke?" She asked him and he hung his head low. "Zari im sorry." He mumbled. Together they threw away all the drugs and watched tv together. About an hour or so later the door bell rung and Jayceon answered it.
Keisha dropped Aaliyah off and he brought Aaliyah inside. She was oddlt quiet and she went to her room. Frowning Jayceon sat back down. "Whats wrong with Liyah?" Zaria asked and he shrugged. "Probably mad at her mom about a toy or suin." He guessed.
They continued watching tv until Jayceon got in a playful mood. "There's 20 letters in the alphabet right?" He scrunched his face up in confusion.
Zaria racked her brain for the answer. "Nah i think there 26." She said looking at Jayceon. "Oh yea i forgot u, r, a, q, t." He said and Zaira laughed at his corny joke. "Your so damn corny." She laughed and he smirked at her.
"But anyway i said there's 26 letters not 25." Zaria chuckled. "Oh don't worry you'll get the D later." Zaria pushed him away laughing at him. "Your so stupid." She laughed and he chuckled.
Another moment went by before looking at Zaria with a serious face. "I fell in love with this girl." He started and Zaria nodded listening. "And she looks similar to you." He said and Zaria smirked.
"I know you love me i mean who doesn't." Zaria said cockily. "No i meant Taliah." He said and Zaria gasped before pushing him. He laughed clutching his stomach.
"Ion gotta take this." She said chuckling. "Okay okay. Im done." He laughed and Zaria nodded.
"Would you like to be the sun in my life?" Zaria asked him and he nodded thinking it meant he can light up her life.
"Good then stay 9,955,887.6 miles away from me." Jayceon's jaw dropped and he tackled Zaria. "Aaliyah get yo daddy!' Zaria laughed as he tickled her. Aaliyah came into the living room and tickled her dad in his ticklish spot.
They all started tickling each other until someone banged on the door loudly. They all stopped laughing and Jayceon took out his gun he hid under the couch. "Go into the room and hide." He whispered to the girls. Zaria picked Aaliyah up and they ran into her room. Zaria hid Aaliyah in a basket putting clothes and toys on her so it didn't seem suspicious in case they got in.
"Liyah don't move unless i say so." Zaria mumbled and Aaliyah whisper ok. Zaria quietly went into her room shut and shut the closet really loud and left the room shutting and locking the door to make it seem like she was hiding in there.
Zaria ran into Aaliyah's room and hid under the bed. It was junky under there so it was easy to hide. Downstairs Jayceon counted to 20 giving the girls time to hide and stuff.
The people kept banging on the door and he opened it. Immediately fists were flying. Aaliyah who was shaking with fear tried not to move. Zaria clasped her hands together and prayed.
"God i know ion pray every day and i know ion got to church no more but please keep us safe. If you can't keep me safe at least wrap your arms aroun Jayceon and Aaliyah. I love you God and its not our time yet. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen." Zaria whispered.
Gunshots rang out and Aaliyah put a sock in her mouth to keep from screaming so loud.
Levi punched Jayceon in the face and Jayceon shot his arm. Bullets were flying and everything was chaotic. Next thing Jayceon knows he's being forced on the ground by multiple men and others are rushing into the house tearing things apart.
