i wake up to everyone screaming downstairs. i walk down the stairs and everyone is in the living room watching a high speed chase. "can you guys be any louder?" i say. "look who's finally awake" thomas said. "you slept all day". "oh.. oh well" i say. i say hi to ryland and postmates some taco bell. it's 5:40 pm. i throw everything out and turn around to see ryland. "hi" i say. "get dressed we're leaving in an hour." he said. "okay.." i say. i go upstairs and shower. i put this on.

"that's a surprise" ryland said. we walk to the car and drive off. we were playing music and talking on the way there. he puts his hand on my thigh and i smile. we arrive to the santa monica pier.
