"So what is this thing again?"
"A projector."
"How do you know this... again?"
"I read about them, in a book."
"Of course you did."
Morrigan and Jack were setting up the projector, rather, Jack was doing all of the work, Morrigan was just watching.
"Are you guys done yet?" Jupiter asked as he walked in with a huge bucket of popcorn, munching on a mouthful.
"Oh yeah now we can watch the Peppa Pig movie - HECK NO," Jack replied with obvious sarcasm.
"Dang it I love Peppa Pig," sighed Morrigan, "I can't wait any longer."
Jack sighed as well and continued to fix the projector. It was broken because Hawthorne decided to give Fenestra a jar of pickles. Fen chased Hawthorne into the cinema room where Hawthorne threw the projector in self-defence. Jupiter smiled at the memory of nearly being hit by the way-off throw and threw a piece of popcorn at Jack. Jack looked up and glared at his uncle who smirked to himself.
"Why'd you do that!?"
"Why not?"
Jack gave him his "Are you serious?" look followed by his famous eye roll.
"Jaaaaaaaack, I wanna watch Peppa Pig-" Morrigan groaned.
"If you wanna fix this yourself then go ahead!" he said, clearly exasperated.
"I would if I knew how, just like a lot of things in life," Morrigan muttered under her breath.
After another 45 minutes of fixing, watching and popcorn throwing, Jack finally gave up with a frustrated groan, hitting the projector. The projector reacted with a loud whirring noise which spooked Jack. He fell backwards, hitting the floor with a thump.
"Well, apparently it's fixed," he gasped as he stood back up, grasping the table for support and adjusting his eyepatch. He opened the lens socket placed the lens straight in.
"Finally we can watch this darn movie," he muttered under his breath connecting a cord into it from a blue-ray player, which contained the Peppa Pig movie. They sat down as the movie started projecting on the screen. Morrigan reached over for some popcorn only to realise that Jupiter was smirking and handing over the whole bucket. She cried out loud when she realised there was nothing in there.
"The heck? You expect us to starve?" she inquired.
"No, but it's funny," he struggled to hide his mirth.
"Why does Peppa look so ugly?" Jack asked. Jupiter and Mog stared at Jack shocked.
"You dare disrespect the art of Peppa Pig?" she inquired.
"No, she looks...distorted."
They all turned to look at the screen and sure enough Peppa's beautiful face was even more beautiful.
"Peppa looking like a supermodel" stated Morrigan, "I give credit to such wunderful artists."
"The hell happened," Jack said examining the projector. He lightly whacked it and the lens popped out shattering on the floor. The projector itself started to become hot and emitting smoke. Two and a half pairs of eyes widened and a single popcorn popped out. Morrigan dove for it happy that at least one was left for her. There came a small boom from the projector and the three of them jumped for cover.
"Oh no the popcorn," she whispered as she held it in her hand, "it's burnt, but still good enough for Mog." She put on a smile and popped it into her mouth. Slowly her face became sour and she eventually spat it out.
"Hey, I made that," Jupiter said, hurt. Jack sighed and stood up. He looked around before walking towards the projector, which was still giving off steam.
"So, who wants to fix it?"
