Trapped

"Tell me again about the village, and please don't leave out a single detail!" Penelope begged.

"Hehe, it was amazing!" [NN's/N] laughed.

"You two should have been there…The sky was extremely blue, the food, the people…amazing." You started again. "But the best part was…I met someone." You smiled and said.

Meanwhile, Maylu was busy in her room with her navi Roll. Roll had just teleported back into her PET after…following your navi…into the village.

"Hi Maylu, I'm back…and I have some interesting news for you." Roll smirked and started.

"Yes?" Maylu urged her to go on.

"Well today, I saw someone in the village." Roll twisted her voice and said.

"Why is that interesting?"

"No reason…I just saw a certain girl with long [h/c] hair…" Roll hinted.

"WHAT?!" Maylu shouted, standing up. "[Y/N] was in the village?! How how?" Maylu demanded to know.

"She found the tunnel. You know, the one downstairs in the secret passage?" Roll said.

"…" Maylu grabbed Roll and stormed out to your room, while you were still telling Penelope and Hobbie about the village.

"Sooo, what was his name?" Penelope cooed.

"…I don't know! Oh my god, I didn't even ask!" You realized. Then, Maylu stormed in, causing you three to shut up.

"I heard…you had a decent trip today." Maylu said, walking in. Roll smirked, earning a glare from your navi.

"Roll…" You hissed behind your teeth after earning a nudge from your navi.

"I also heard you met someone." Maylu said, walking around and then stopped and looked at you over her shoulder. "Who was he?"

"I…I don't know his name." You answered.

"LIAR." Maylu hissed, making you fall on your butt from shock.

"I'm telling the truth!" You urged, but to no avail.

"Maybe I'm not making myself CLEAR!" Maylu yelled, shocking you. She looked around and lifted her hand at your drawings that were against the wall. She levitated them off the ground and they shattered. After that, she did the same with your paint brushes.

"But she said she doesn't know!" Penelope butted in.

"So…your friends are in on your secret…" Maylu said.

"No please, they don't know!" You protested, and then eyed Penelope and Hobbie. "Go, go!" You shooed them out of the room.

"Going to confess yet? What's his name?" Maylu urged again.

"I said…I don't know." You sighed in frustration. "And why are you doing this? You can't keep me locked away from the world forever!!"

"…Fine then. Watch me." Maylu walked to the middle of the room and charged her power at the ceiling. In no time, your room's door disappeared and the whole room turned into a TOWER. When she was done, she looked back at you with a glare. "When I ask a question, I expect an answer. In the meantime, clean up this mess!" She ordered.

You eyed the broken brushes, cups and paintings as tears pricked your eyes. Maylu then left out the window on Penelope's dad. Tears officially started pouring out of your eyes as you clutched the broken brushes close to your figure.

"Why…why?"

Meanwhile, Chaud entered the castle to go speak with his father, Shuseki [yes, that's actually Chaud's dad's name. click here for proof]. Entering the throne room, he walked to his father's side.

"Did you find the maiden that saved our Katrina?" Shuseki asked his son.

"No. The guards and I searched the entire village, but she's no where to be found." He informs.

"Could she be a spy for Yuichiro Hikari?" Shuseki asks.

"If she was, why would she risk her life on the line to save Katrina?" Chaud pointed out.

"Your highness." A guard says, bowing in front of you both. "There was no sign of King Yuichiro's horsemen." He informed.

"This cannot go unanswered." Shuseki demanded, standing up. "Tonight, I'll lead my own raiding army." He says, then looks to the side at Chuad. "Be ready, Chaud." He says.

"Of course, father." Chuad said and started walking off, but then stopped. "Father…when do you think this feud will end?" He asks lastly.

"When King Yuichiro pays for everything he's done." Shuseki answers.

"But-"

"In a few days, you will turn 18, Chaud. One day you will take over the kingdom, and it may be up to you to defeat Yuichiro." Chaud thought for a moment, bowed, and then left the throne room.

Outside, Katrina was being forced by her two other sisters to ask Chaud about something.

"Alright alright I'll ask!" Katrina spatted at them and smiled up at Chaud. "Um, Chaud! When are you going to see the girl with the pretty hair again?" She asks innocently. 

"Soon…I hope." Chaud tells her, looking out the window.
