Vernon's POV
Today's the day. I'm getting married to a piece of trash. Abella never came. It's okay, I'll understand that. She's probably in love with someone else. After all, I'm not the lucky dude who deserves her.
Incoming call...
Trash
Oh God. I received the call.
"Hi baby! I love you so much!"
"Oh hey! You getting ready?" I asked.
"Yess! I'm at the parlour! They're getting my wedding dress fixed. I can't wait to meet your passionate eyes. This is gonna be my best day in life!"
Best day indeed.
An evil smirk curved on my lips.
"Baby?" Bella called.
"O-oh yes. Sorry I was zoned out," I said.
"Aww! Don't think too much about your wife! You'll pass out haha! Bye babe, meet you soon! Muah!"
She ended the call.
"Sir," my housekeeper called.
"Yes?" I answered.
"There's an interviewer outside," she informed.
"What? No send him back"
"It's a she," she said.
"She? Whatever, send her back," I commanded.
The housekeeper bowed and left my room.
After 2 minutes she came back.
"What is it now?" I asked as I buttoned my shirt from the bottom.
"She insists to meet you," she said.
"I can't, tell her," I raised my voice a bit.
"She said if she's not let in, she'll forcefully get in," she informed, but with a hidden smile behind her pursed lips.
"She t-threatened you?" I asked with a frown.
She nodded.
"I'm coming down, wait. Let her have a seat at the living room," I said.
I kept my shirt unbuttoned and headed downstairs.
As I was about to step down another stair, I raised my head to check on who it was.
"H-hello Vernon"
