We head out to the real battlefield. Amantos of different species were present and some samurai's who's under the Shogunate's orders.

I was having a hard time fighting, luckily, the others got my back. Instead of going low in fighting due to my condition, I was fighting all out, this was for Shoyo-sensei after all.

  We were winning the war, the Amantos are diminishing their numbers. Or so we thought.

  Men with large straw hats came in big numbers in the battlefield. They are know as Tenshouin Naraku, the ones that killed my family, and the same ones that took Shoyo-sensei.

  Adrenaline rushed through my veins, the killing-intent on me was evident.

  I let out my battle cry and one by one made my way to every enemy. My body continued fighting even with the attacks that I received, I was slashing everything my sword came contact with, that's every Amanto and Naraku I encounter.

  My attacks stopped. I saw our hope.

I saw Shoyo-sensei. He's still smiling, that same smile that welcomed me and loved me.

  I ran towards Shoyo-sensei's direction who was being shackled by the Tenshouin-Naraku.

I was a meter away from Shoyo when 2 Tenshouin Naraku held me back and pointed a sword at my neck.

"Pick one." I heard the one shackling Shoyo spoke to Gintoki.

'Why are they making Gintoki suffer like this? Why are they punishing us?' Tears streamed down my face. Not because I'm scared but angry at the fact that they are making Gintoki into this kind of situation.

The Naraku started to count from 20 backwards.

Gintoki was in between me and Shoyo, so it's hard telling whom  he will choose.

Gintoki lifted his sword. He looked at me teary-eyed and I was happy that I am the one he chose. I smiled and closed my eyes, waiting for Gintoki to send me off.

'Arigatou' I heard Shoyo sensei spoke that my eyes snapped back open. As Shoyo sensei spoke, Gintoki had done what he had to do.

He bloodily cut of Shoyo sensei's head and at that same moment, I felt pain around my neck and blacked out. 'I saw a tear, Gintoki'

I woke up in the battlefield with no one by my side.  I only saw a yakulk, a mustard, jump, and a bomb. 'I promise too'

After the war, we all parted ways. Takasugi and Gintoki wasn't in good conditions after what happened. Sakamoto travelled space, and Katsura went rogue.

  I first headed back to where Shoka Sonjuku once stood. Relishing the memories, I stayed there for about 3 years.

I renovated some parts of the dojo, and practiced my sword there.

  I headed out to find my former comrades.

  I travelled in Edo, there are rumors of Gintoki doing odd jobs there, I heard Katsura's there too.

  Apparently my, looks have changed. I have longer black hair, tied in a low ponytail, and some loose hair framing my face, my eyes have become sharper and I wore a dark gray kimono with a navy blue obi, my sword on my left hip.

Timeskip to Edo.

I am currently in Kabuki-district where I am searching for odd jobs, yorozuya.

  "So Gintoki stays here?" I arrived at a snack house and yorozuya on top.

I first entered the snack house, I'm famished from all my travelling.

  "Excuse me, can I ord-" a bottle was thrown at me and smacked my face.

"What the-" another bottle was thrown at my face.

  "Can't you let me finish speaking?!" I angrily shouted with my face still red with bottle marks.

"Eh? I know that gorilla voice somewhere." Gintoki turned around wearing a man diaper and picking his nose.

" Gorilla Woman!" Gintoki shouted while going slow-mo and with arms wide-open.

Just as he was nearing me, I smacked him with a chair and stomped on him, hard and repeatedly.

"Is that a way to greet me? Perm-dead Gintoki?!" I said still smacking him.

"Calm down cal-ack!" Gintoki finally escaped his consciousness.

"Gin-chan!" A girl with vermillion hair and wearing a red chinese dress came running to us.

I was afraid that this might be Gintoki's daughter and I just molested her father infront of her.

I was surprised when she joined my beating and started kicking him.

"Onee-chan, Thank you for beating up Gin-chan, he's been a total d*** these days, aru." She said while smiling.

  I sighed content with what I've done. I stepped on him and sit on one of the chairs and ordered spicy curry. I poured my mustard on the curry, covering it completely.

"Are you Gin-chan's fiancee?, and come to find him and take him away after you've been divorced to a forced marriage aru?" She said as she finishes her 4th bowl of egg on rice.

I nearly choked on my food.'How does this girl's mind work?'

  "Um, no Gintoki's my comrade from the Joui War, I fought with them." I smiled sheepishly.

"Whoa! You're amazing onee-chan aru! But I still don't know your name, I'm Kagura! aru!" Kagura said eating her 11th bowl.

" Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Hijikata, Toushira. So, Kagura-chan, what is your relationship with Gin-san?" I said while chomping my own food.

"He's my surrogate father, because my Papi is travelling in the galaxies fighting bad guys aru, Gin-chan, Shinpachi, and me work as the Yorozuya, we do weird jobs for money." She said finally stopped eating after her 20th bowl.

"Ah, then do you know by any chance know Katsura?" I asked hoping for answers.

"Zura? Yep, he's a Joui Rebel whose being hunted by the Shinsengumi aru." She said picking Gintoki up.

"Thank you, Kagura-chan, see you!" I said and dropping a fair amount of pay on the counter.

'Shinsengumi huh, it'd be nice playing with Katsura-san'
