Chapter 1.

(Ava's POV)

"Let me tell you a story, about a girl and a boy. He fell in love with his best friend, when she's around-" I hit the button on my phone to stop my alarm. Yes, I do love Justin Bieber. That song is just perfect, well I think so.

Today is my first day of school, not exactly excited. I mean, who knows what will happen today? I've seen it before, when new kids come to a new school, people hardly notice them the first week. I'm from England and mum made us move to Gold Coast, Australia. I'm quite happy about that though, England is shitty (excuse my language), but I'm just being honest. Nothing happens here.

After I'd gotten changed into some new clothes I'd just bought from the money my mum gave me, I went downstairs for breakfast being greeted by my mum.

"morning honey, what you having for breakfast?" I smiled at her.

"erm, pancakes?", she winked and laughed.

"as per usual" I laughed with her.

10 minutes later I'd finished my breakfast, it was 7:45am and school started at 8:20am. I had loads of time considering mum drove me to school.

When I arrived it was 8:10am, time to go to the school office to get my timetable. I walked to the entrance of the school after saying bye to my mum, I got given different looks from all sorts of directions. Wow. The girls with the short skirts/shorts and face full of make up, hm I know that type, we're glaring at me. They didn't even know me, judgmental or what? Ugh nevermind.

"erm, I'm Ava White. I'm new here, I'm just wondering if you have me school timetable?" I smile sweetly at the office women, she looks up and smiles back.

"of course! here you go sweetie", she gave me my timetable, I turned around and *BUMP*.
