Something Special (Chapter 5)

Chapter 5.

It was now Thursday, I'd just got back from another tiring day from school.

"Mum, I'm home!"

"okay", I ran upstairs and jumped on my bed face first, i started laughing uncontrollably. I got up and slipped on something more comfortable. I dug through my closet and found some pajama shorts and a tank top, it was 4:00pm, I don't care. I'm tired. I got into bed and soon fell asleep for a few hours.

When I woke up it was 7:40pm, as if I slept for that long. I walked to my balcony doors and opened them exposing my balcony and the beautiful view of the sea in the distance, not far away actually. That was the good thing about living here, my room was huge, I had a balcony and it was basically just a beautiful place to live in. I looked at the sunset and thought about everything, I missed my friends back home. That reminds me, I have to talk to them on Facebook.

"hey Ava" I jumped and turned around, Cody.

"stop scaring me!" I pouted, slapping his chest playfully but gently. He laugh and hugged me tight.

"I'm sorry" we both laughed as I pulled away.

"what are you doing here?"

"got bored and came to see you" I giggled.

"cute." he smiled and blushed, I MADE CODY SIMPSON BLUSH CH'YEAAAH.

"so what have you been doing?"

"I've been sleeping-"

"Ava, dinner is ready in 15 minutes, whos this?" mum walked up to us, oh no!

"okay mum and this is-" he cut me off.

"Cody, nice to meet you.."

"Jill. nice to meet you too Cody" they smiled at eachother.

"I'll leave you guys alone now", she winked and put her thumbs up at me, okay how embarrassing. I blushed and looked down.

"your mums pretty" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"don't you go hitting on my mama" we laughed.

"I won't, promise." I felt myself being pushed against the railings of the balcony and Cody's arm wrap around my waist. He came close to me and looked into my eyes.

"you're so beautiful Ava.", I looked down blushing a deep red colour. He lifted my chin up and smiled, he put some of my hair behind my ear.

"sorry, didn't mean to embarrass you", he chuckled and I smiled big, I pulled him close and wrapped my arms around his neck hugging him tight.

We stayed there for a few more minutes, he was so warm and comforting. It felt nice to be in his arms.

"AVA, OLIVER DINNER IS READY!" I heard mum shout. I pulled away and looked up at Cody.

"I gotta go kid" he furrowed his eyebrows at me.

"you're younger than me, kid." I laughed at him.

"you're so childish it's cute", I pinched his cheek.

"alright, alright let go of my precious cheeks" he winked, "see you tomorrow" he kissed my cheek and jumped over to his balcony.

I walked into my room and closed the balcony doors, what just happened? wow..
