"I'm so sorry!" I looked up, wow.
"no, I'm sorry. I should of been looking where I was going" he nervously shook his hair with his fingers, that was so hot. Wait, I've only just met him, shut the hell up Ava.
"I'm Cody by the way, I haven't seen you around here, are you new?", he smiled.
"yeah, it's my first day today and I'm Ava." I smiled back while shaking his hand.
"nice to meet you Ava, and you're British?", he smirked.
"um yeah, how'd you guess?" I said smirking back.
"your accent, it's cute." I blushed.
"I can say the same about yours", he smiled and licked his lips.
"can I look at your timetable?" he asked kindly.
"yeah, here" I handed it too him. He scanned it with his eyes, then he smiled.
"looks like we have every class together apart from art." I smiled.
"really? well atleast someone I know is in my class, it's not really fun being the new girl." he nodded rolling his eyes.
"let me guess, did you get the stares from the main girls of the school? short shorts and skirts, face full of make up?" he raised his eyebrows.
I laughed hard and he joined.
"yeah! that's them! ugh" he looked down at me.
"don't let them get to you, you're my friend now, I won't let them bother you" he winked. Can I die right now or?
"thanks, I guess" I bit my lip nervously.
"no problem." Right then, the bell rang for first period, great.
"we better get to class, we have English first." that australian accent, oh my gosh. We walked to class together again, getting stares from everyone.
"what are they staring at?" I whispered to him.
"us." he replied.
"obviously but I mean, what's so intresting?" we walked through the door to the class room.
"well-"
"Cody, take a seat!", um okay, this teacher seems nice. You'll notice my sarcasm a lot. I walked to the front of the class to the teacher.
"hi, um I'm Ava White, I'm new"
"nice to meet you Ava, I'm Mr Jones. Take a seat next to Lucy at the back", I looked at where he was looking, a girl with brown straight hair and hazel eyes like me! Apart from I have naturally curly hair, oh the joys. I don't really like my hair to be honest. I walked up to Lucy and sat in the seat beside her, I noticed Cody at the other side of the class at the back, he did a head nod at me an smiled and I smiled back.
"hey, I'm Lucy!"
"hi, nice to meet you. I'm Ava." she smiled.
"aw nice name. are you from England?" she said suprised. I giggled.
"yeah, my accent? Cody said the same this morning." she smirked.
"Cody..oh", she winked. "what's going on between you two?"
"we only just met, why?"
"school rumours."
"already?! fucking hell.." she burst out laughing and the teacher glared at us. We stopped and started laughing again.
"welcome to our school, people are saying you guys kissed when you bumped into each other"
"hahaha! kissed? no way. I bumped into him and we started talking, can't believe how fast rumours spread!"
"I know, you do realise who Cody is though?" I looked at her puzzled.
"no.."
"he's the school hottie, the most popular guy in school. Probably the only decent guy too. Girls envy you right now." I chuckled under my breathe. As I was about to talk a piece of scrunched up paper was thrown at my head, I looked at where it came from, Cody.
I glared at him, but cracked a smile. He mouthed 'open it'. I opened the paper, it read:
"I'm so bored, text me pleasee." with his number.
I got out my phone and put his number in,
"hey!x"
"hellooo, so did Lucy explain why people were staring?x"
"yep, rumours spread fast at this school-.- x"
"what are the rumours??x"
"that supposedly we're dating and that we kissed when I bumped into you. x"
"oh my gosh -.- some people aha x"
"I know right, so gullible!x"
I looked up at him and he laughed and I stuck my tongue out. I looked beside him and saw...oh, one of the girls that were staring at me, hit him softly on the arm and he furrowed his eyebrows at her. She looked at me and fake smiled then rolled her eyes, I just looked away.
"who's that?x" I text him.
"amber, she likes me-.- one of the populars, was she one of those that were glaring at you?x"
"oh and yep..do you like her?x"
"no way! she's too much of a bitch, fake too ;) x" I looked at him and laughed shaking my head.
"funny guy ;) x"
"do you find me attractive Ava?;) x"
"Mhm not really :/ I'm kidding, yeah :) x"
"I think you're cute :) x" I blushed and Lucy noticed. She looked at my phone and mouthed:
'oh my gosh. HE CALLED YOU CUTE!' I giggled and blushed, she poked my waist while I was wriggling. "AVA, LUCY! CONCENTRATE!"
"sorry sir" we both said.
"hey, do you wanna come to mine after school?" she whispered. I modded.
"I'd love too", I smiled at her and she got out her phone texting someone, hm..
