Chapter 3
When the bell for lunch went I walked with Lucy to lunch.
"wait I have to pee, wait here for me?" I nodded and stood outside the toilet, I got out my phone and checked my twitter. Nothing-
"hi.", I looked infront of me, oh great. Amber and I dont even know the other girl's names.
"um hey?" they smirked. Amber got in my face.
"listen, new kid. You know nothing about this school and you deffinatley don't know anything about Cody. Don't touch him, don't even talk to him. He would never date anyone like you so stop making a fool of yourself now." the other girls laughed behind her.
"amber, you're making a fool of yourself. I'm never going to date you." I looked to my side and saw Cody appear, great timing.
She scoffed,
"honestly, I couldn't give a fuck what you say to me, in the end. You're the one looking like a bitch here." she came closer too me.
"don't you fucking say that about me you little slut." I laughed in her face.
"oh I'm the slut, look at yourself babe." Lucy walked out and I could see the anger in Amber's eyes, she was about to attack me when Cody stepped in front of her.
"amber leave her the fuck alone. It's her first day, why don't you try being nice to someone? It'll get you further in life. You like me, yet you have about 10 guys on the go. I don't like you in that way, in fact I'm not even sure I like you as a friend, your personality is shit.", Cody walked away pulling me with him, I grabbed Lucy's hand and dragged her with me. We walked into the lunch hall and I stopped Cody. I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him gently.
"thank you." he stroked my hair.
"aw, anytime. do you and lucy wanna come sit with me and the guys?", I pulled away and looked at him, I nodded and he showed us to their table. Lucy nudged me while smiling big, she winked at me and mouthed 'we're deffinatley talking about this later' I shook my head in disbelief, she's funny.
"Guys, this is Ava. She's new and I'm sure you already know Lucy" Cody fake coughed, "jake". All the guys chuckled and Lucy blushed. Woah, am I missing something?
"nice to meet you Ava, I'm Josh, Josh Winnington." he winked at me. Cody's friends are hot too, but no where near on the level Cody is.
"hey Josh" I smiled. I got introduced to Tobias, Jake and Campbell too. We spent all lunch together and it looks like I made more friends.
The bell rang for last period and we all went back to class. Me, Cody and Lucy had History. Luckily, Amber wasn't in this class. All three of us sat on a table together and I noticed Josh was in this class too. He sat down with us.
All throughout the lesson, we didn't manage to get any work done. We'd just been talking through the whole hour and not even realised, oops. The final bell rang and me and Lucy said bye to the guys as they walked home and me and Lucy headed to her house.
