Chapter 5 (The Morning After)

Makhail, Rue, Howard, Leslie, and Roy all arrive at the hospital.

Roy: how are y'all holding up?

Howard: good.

Roy: it's gonna be ok.

Rue: Rohan you sure you don't know who it was.

Rohan: if i fucking knew I wouldn't be standing here.

Makhail: ill be right back.

Makhail walks outside. Then he calls Bella.

Makhail: can i speak to Adam?.

Bella: he's not here, whats going on?

Makhail: im gonna take you up on your offer.

Bella: you sure?

Makhail: yes.

Bella: ok.

Makhail hangs up. Bella text Adam.

Bella: he's in, it worked.

Adam: why wouldn't it have babe?

Bella: I don't know.

Adam: did you doubt me?

Bella: no babe, never.

Adam: get some rest, we have a day ahead of us.

AT BELLAS HOUSE.

Bella calls her sibling to her room.

Julian: what could you possibly want?

Bella: Han was stabbed.

Julian: you didn't.

Allison: I have to keep you both safe, this world isn't big enough for both of us.

Julian: whos both of us?

Bella: us and Rohan's group?

Allison: yes.

Julian: Allison what the fuck, what if they find out?

Allison: they won't, Hans a nobody, nobody cares for him.

Julian: yes people do, we may not but they have friends.

Allison: yea.

Bella: never mind ill handle this with my husband.

They all get back in bed.

BACK AT THE HOSPITAL.

Rue: y'all should go home and get some sleep.

Roy: anyone need a ride?

Rohan: no im staying here until i get some news.

Roy: ok let me know if theres any changes.

Roy, Leslie, and Howard leave. Mia walks in.

Rue: why are you here, I just can't with this.

Rohan takes Rue outside.

Makhail: why are you here, we don't need a lawyer.

Mia: I didn't mean for any of this to happen.

Makhail: you know who did this to him?

Mia: look we can't have this talk in public, we have to take this somewhere personal.
